[SPEC] Real Title Found?
Real Title Found and it's not monstrous

I think I may have found the real title of the movie.

"FOUND"

Reason# 1

There is a good speculation going around that the movie starts with either children or the army finding the video camera and footage in a devastated New York.
(very Blair Witch like)
So Found seems to fit right in.

Reason #2

Harry at Ain't It Cool News said about his note from JJ Abrams that: "So JJ Abrams wrote me to give us all a clue, cuz we're at square one of this mystery!"

But there isn't any clue!
Saying the fans only found one of the sites isn't really a clue.
So where can the real clue be, in capital letters in plain site.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your support of our little movie. I can't wait to talk to you more about it -- of course, knowing you, by the time we talk you'll know more than I will.

Regarding the online stuff you posted: yeah, we're doing some fun stuff on the web. But, obviously, if the movie doesn't kick some massive behind, who gives a rat's about what's online? So as you can imagine, we're focusing mostly on THAT. For what it's worth, the only site of ours that people have even FOUND is the 1-18-08.com site. The others (like the Ethan Haas sites) have nothing to do with us.

Stay cool the rest of the summer -- and thanks per usual for AICN!

JJ

Reason #3

A little tongue-in-cheek joke from the creator of "LOST".

Reason #4

I found this later and this is why I'm excited about it.

In Slusho history at the slusho! site count the words from the end of the history. Do not count the slogan(you can't drink just six) but start at the last word which is Slusho! Remember to count hyphenated words as one. The 108 th word is FOUND!!!

Maybe that is why it is japanese so you read from the end instead of the beginning because after all THE BEGINNING IS THE END.

Reason #5

The sites -abramsfound.org, abramsfound.net, abramsfound.com has recently been registered but before the trailer came out.

Registrar Name....: REGISTER.COM, INC.
Registrar Whois...: whois.register.com
Registrar Homepage: www.register.com

Domain Name: abramsfound.com

Created on..............: Tue, Dec 12, 2006
Expires on..............: Mon, Dec 12, 2016
Record last updated on..: Sat, Jul 14, 2007
---------------------------------------------------

I think MONSTROUS on the poster looks more like a tag line than a title.

So these are my reasons for my theory on the title being "FOUND"
I think it might be a little cheesy myself but check out the clues yourself such as the one in the slusho! site.

Your theory sounds found, and good and all, but all of our ideas are speculation. But that is a nice theory none-the-less.

Hey, maybe. It would really have to fit in with Lost then, wouldn't it? Haven't watched it. If you're familiar, how would the Slusho story fit in with the show's plot?

Also: who registered those domains? I'm not really sure I'm buying that, if only because it would be strange to include the director's name in the url.

clues
clues

The two strongest clues are the capitalized FOUND in Abrams note which is really out of place and the slusho history(108 words backwards is found).

That is pretty interesting... not sure what to do with that info yet. Could be the title. Could be a clue to something else... at any rate, damn good job finding it.

I don't know crap about domain registration, so: does this mean someone bothered to register it, but we don't know who? Or dose it mean that register.com just happens to be sitting on it?

I was kinda hoping FOUND would be the 108th word in Abram's e-mail, but it looks like it's 91st - 92nd if you count the missing "ass."

I never thought of that rhialto, good idea. Some automated child-safe thing changed ASS to behind.

I was thinking, the 1-18-08.com site reminds me a lot of MICROSOFT SURFACE, anyone thought about that yet?

[silly connection] nine minus one is eight! [/silly connection]

This is very interesting. I wonder how that would tie in with lost, though.
