So far I've drawn a blank on a solution . My only observations are
1) the posting was specific to me so the word "Sly Fox" may be necessary to the solve.
2) the word 'the' appears twice in the last sentence. Is this a typo?
3) there are 41 letters in the last line and since 41 is a prime they can't be rearranged into an evenly spaced grid pattern.

Any help welcomed

The graphic near the lower left really caught my eye - it's a drain with blood flowing into it. Caption reads something like:

"Jeff Mahoney has never killed anyone - not in his waking hours - Go 2"

(Jeff Mahoney has been a regular columnist at the Spec for as long as I can remember - but he's usually a humourist - why the blood?)

2) COPPS files RCMP Complaint. It was massive, orchestrated fraud. I think it was well planned, well orchestrated and it follows a pattern. And it's not pattern that's unique to our riding.
Copps charges someone hacked into her system and confused voters by altering the message.
3) Worker guilty of beating woman. Hidden video shown on national TV.
4) Police continue to investigation of Ice Attack.NHls ?? supended after breaking player's neck/nose(?)
5) Smoking linked to new Cancer
6) Spec ticker... A political Pheonix. David Christopherson is set to rise from the assges. A2
7) Jeff Mahoney has never killed anyone - not in this waking hours Go 2.
