So were these posters available for purchase, or is the nasty rumor about the posters being pulled from the shelf as soon as the place closed last time true?

And if they were available for sale, did you happen to consider buying one?

And if you did, will you risk criminal prosecution by providing hi-res scans of the poster so we can analyze and scrutinize every pixel?

well if that is taken from the movie then the statue of liberty head had to have been taken with the monster and thrown after the explosion... seeing as the head flies down the street a couple seconds after the blast... in this pic the head is gone and has been gone as the blast occurs

The third image captures the buildings in the poster the best, the first is the closest angle to the poster that I could find. The second has the world trade center included in it, which we can use as a clear reference point for the other two pics and the poster.

yeah I have to agree, if it is fake someone's in some trouble for using the paramount logo on a fake.
It was probably not ment for distribution till after Abram's comic con panel but its not unprecedented for something secret to be released early (i.e. the most recent harry potter book)
