Graphics artists and programmers do that all the time. From cartoons to movies to programing "easter eggs". Heck, I myself put my name hidden in a commercial graphics program where the theme from The Jetsons plays in the background...

But... didn't Red Interactive make the Flash? Does this guy work for Red Interactive? And if this guy is a graphic artist and web designer, why is his own site so weak?

The first pages in this thread are talking about the game. I'm not sure why this thread isn't labeled trailhead, but you need to read from the start of the thread to get your answers. Smile

The name of the thread is a URL. At the time, it wasn't known as a rabbithole or trailhead, but a Timewaster puzzle site. That's why it was never marked as a [Trailhead] in the topic. If this site had cropped up later in the ARG storyline, it might have been labeled as [PUZZLE]. As the game expands, it might not even be necessary to start at any one site. If there is a trail to be followed, a [Reference] thread can give people the details of how to navigate, which would be more helpful than changing a topic label at this late date. (This is just my point of view, always willing to get input from the players.)

 		fj4738r has to mean something but I have no clue what. The image kind of looks like the norther lights, but it looks like a lot of other things too. I kind of see people in it.

looks like the bloodstain or whatever is on the journal pages.

my guess is that it's a journal entry with some picture on it, or something on top of it.
