Has anyone done steg detect on the Bad Robot front page image? Possibly need the Athena Wickham name as a password?

 		They did just say over at AICN that they expect the title of the movie to be announced as Monstrous and the posted with the headless SOL is looking to be real.... just in case you all did not know

While you're at it, could you do me a favor and check to see if there's an isolated track or if you can even hear that woman's voice saying "They Live" right at the start of the first roar. I know it's been mentioned on here before but that is definitely what I hear and I'm not really prone to hearing things that aren't really there. I personally have played that section a number or times and have had several other people listen and confirm it as well. I'm not sure what THAT MEANS exactly in relation to anything really. It only seems to imply that whatever THEY are there are more than one of them...



Maybe we can figure out if she's saying "They Live" or "The Myth", because I'm still hearing "The Myth".





I will try to get to it in a little while. I am not quite sure what the name they are shouting is, but will try to get to that too. If anyone else wants to check it out for themselves, with quicktime pro, you can open the trailer in quicktime and save the file. Then drag it into either an audio editing program or a video editing program like Final Cut.

Really? Prove it.

I'm sick of people babbling that it's "original", and therefore nothing even concieved in anyones wildest dreams. All I've heard is that it isn't a remake of a previously existing movie, and I don't even know if that's true.

 		ew.com is reporting that it's not a parasite, and it's not a giant Asian robot (i.e., not Voltron). Beyond that, I think I remember reading an article saying that it wasn't a remake of another movie. I think we'll know more later today after Abrams announces the name of the movie.

 		just checked it in final cut, some does indeed say "get in the subway", not sure just how safe that would be but certainly safer than being in plain view.

 		Being a New Yorker, if something gigantic and terrible were stomping around above ground and blowing things up, one of the last places I'd want to be is below ground. I know that the ground between street level and the tracks below isn't that thick in some places, so that really seems like an idiotic move, IMO. Like wanting to move further underground in case of an earthquake.. Although, in that situation, there aren't a whole lot of places you could go to be safe anyways, so I'll chalk it up to the people not thinking clearly... Or maybe the 30+ feet of concrete at the Canal Street stations really does offer that level of protection.
...but not likely. Just saying, really.
(Not like there's anything else to talk about right now.)

 		didn't know how deep the subways are in new york, in london some of them are alot deeper than that so they would be safe.
but then would you be safe anywhere with something that big stomping around?

In the case of a major explosion, all of the trains are halted. Example? The transformer explosion at 42nd Street in NY a week or so ago. No trains moving in the area until people determined it was not a terrorist attack and not sourced in the subways themselves. A giant monster-induced fireball of death certainly spells the immediate stopping of all trains in and out of the area.
Unless of course you mean people traveling on foot, thru the tunnels, to escape; which is just asking for a quick ride on the Third Rail Express or a ceiling collapsing on the unfortunate folks.

There is also the possibility that we are reading WAY too far into this and that some random person just yells get in the subway as a natural reaction. If something chaotic is happening, it might just be the first place they thought would be good to get away from the monster or whatever it is.
