[META] Links to Other Possible Sites?
domaintools.com "tools"

I was messing around the whois.domaintools.com place, and found you could do a reverse ip track on a website to find other sites made on that same ip address. This might help find other sites linked to 1-18-08.com If anyone wants to try, they can get a free 10-day trial. Alas, I cannot, I do not have a credit card.

That may not prove fruitful. You see from the ARIN lookup below, the whole range is registered to them. So by poking around on the range you may hit other websites totally unrelated.

And Slusho looks like it's running from a hosting service, InQuent, http://www.inquent.com/index.html, so they aren't even using the range for the only other confirmed in-game website.

So focusing on the IP's probably won't get you very far.

Well, I still think there could be something there, it should give a list of websites registered on the same ip, they may not be related, but could prove to show future sites, or if themonstrousmovie.com really is registered under the real Paramount. http://www.domaintools.com/reverse-ip/ Thats is the site if anyone wants to try.

Well, themonstrousmovie.com is just a domain name. It website doesn't actually exist, in that you can't browse to it, meaning it has no IP. Doing a reverse IP will not find themonstrousmovie.com.

Paramount can register any domain names they want and never have to create a website to match it. They may even blanket register domain names just to protect themselves from fake sites.

They could sit on any number of combinations just to keep others from getting them like cloverifeldabrams.com, ferocious11808.com, etc.

It's called cyber squatting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cybersquatting

The important part to remember is that IP and domain name are not synonymous.

That and the fact that every site so far, afaik, has been hosted on shared hosting boxes, so you're going to find about 3-4 thousand different domains point to the same IP.
