[QUESTION]Second Package? Have they been received?

Part of me thinks that Server 3 was unlocked prematurely.
Seeing as how it lacked a trail almost completely, and nothing at all pointed to July 26th being an important date...

Well does anybody actually know how it got unlocked? I know people had to play the sound to get a key but how did we actually find the unlock page? Last time we had to get the code from the kiosks.

AFAIK the key page loaded after the device heard sufficient sound in the microphone.

The server monitor thing went first. This was the first indication the keys were available.

After that, halo3.com was updated and in the Media-->Concept Art section a new image was added.

The image is labeled the "The Device". Clicking on it takes you to the sound input page.

So basically the 'clue' if you can call it that, was the Server monitor changing status. From there it was just luck that someone found it.

This is, at the moment, definitely not an ARG, which is a shame as it did have a good start.

It's like they started out well, with AR's posts and the SOTA rallies, but now it seems they can't be bothered, so much so that they actually give us a tool that will tell us when the next server opens, and we don't even have to do any legwork....

It's sad! Sad

I probably got mine pretty fast, I don't live very far from bungie's and microsoft's clothing distributor.
