it vary's, i have had all 4 rotating, or 3 or 2 etc, its just a glitch. i did try to get all 4 going and it did evetually do it, yes that is a bit sad but just wanted to test it, results though are not consistant which is why it seems a glitch.

WARNING: The following is ofcourse, pure speculation. Please, don't give me any crap about how crappy my theory sounds or whatever. Also, if any of this has been stated before, I'm sorry, after page 7, I was just like Meh, and decided to post my opinion....So without anything further, here I go!

Hey there, created an account to help clear up a few things.

OK, am I going crazy, or does near a certain part of the trailer(literally seconds before the Monster attacks) does a woman say "The Myth"?

At first, I thought I was just going nuts because I was listening to a sample audio clip that tried to get the same fact out to everyone else(that the words "The Myth" were heard).

I thought it was doctored in, because out of all the dialouge in the trailer, it's the clearest and most audible, which is ironic.

This a is a much lower quality trailer, as it was taken with a cell phone(obviously you can see this because of the person moving around in the second video.)

At 0:39 for the first movie, you hear it. At 0:29 for the second you hear it.

The reason I ask this, is because that reading the first few pages, I was shocked to see that it wasn't brought up! Also, some things to note from this year's Comic Con...Abrams basically said he wanted to make an American like Godzilla...but he used the word "Hero" in the description as well...

If this movie is successful, will we be seeing this monster come back in a much more docile form to attack even more frightening foes?

My thoughts on the links to Slusho and the movie is...well, maybe Rob works for the Slusho company based in America. It is stated that he is going to Japan, so that maybe the connection between the two. Perhaps he got a premotion? From the looks of it, the place seems as if he's Japanese stuff.

Speaking of a point I brought up earlier...after listening to the first roar, it almost sounded as if the beast was simply announcing it's presence, not meaning any harm what so ever. In the trailer, once they get on the roof, you can hear Police sirens more audibly. Perhaps the attack that was brought on by the beast was simply self defense? I know, it's crazy, but alot of bad things have happened because of Human error. I mean, what would you do in that situation? If you have a weapon, and you see a monster that looks....well, fucking scary(sorry, lack of a better term), you're probably going to test to see if you can kill it and save yourself.

The roars following the roar after the first one almost seem as if the beast is in pain, or outraged.

I already know that The Parasite site is fake, but it seems as if that's the term being losely thrown around still for the monster. After watching the trailer, the meteorite like objects flying towards them break apart almost instantly in the air and fly back down at the civillians. If it's a entity made of fire, maybe it's...a-sexually reproducing(Budding=Meteors)?

My thoughts on the mysterious pics:

Party Pic:
The only thing I see here is the creepy chick. The way her face looks is TOO perfect for a sinister feeling to just be a picture-esque mistake. Perhaps the words "The Myth" and this mystery woman play a bigger part in the going on's of the movie. Maybe SHE's the one who says "The Myth".

The WTFISTHATZOOMEDCHICKS pic:
I got nothing. Nothing seems out of the ordinary here. However, when someone put the faces together, they seemed almost ENTIRELY alike, which really puzzles me. The phenomenon in the back is simply singed hair with a lamp post in the back.

The SMOKEITUP, HOMEY! pic:
From their clothing, the only people I see who are from the party are the woman who is holding a bag(the most visible out of all the figures). She can be seen in the trailer behind the rather stacked woman dancing early in the trailer...damn, that was a nice ra--

*ahem*

Anyways, perhaps the guy engulfed in smoke is the camera holder in the trailer, and just went inside the smoke to see what was going on.

I havn't studied this pic as much as the others, mainly because it just looks so....BLAH compared to the other three.

Some of these opinions are kind of un-founded, and most of the them are just me looking for possible outcomes. Don't shoot me down entirely, and please, be nice(gentle, D Smile

EDIT: sorry, just read the statement from Abrams. Apparently, he didn't use the word Hero, but it was to my knowledge that he did. I forgot JUST where I read it, which sucks. Here's the statement I found off a blog site

I want a monster movie, I've wanted one for so long. I was in Japan with my son and all he wanted to do is go to toy stores. And we saw all these Godzilla toys, and I thought, we need our own monster, and not King Kong, King Kong's adorable. I wanted something that was just insane and intense. It's almost done shooting and I watch dailies and I'm more excited for them than the trailer, which has had an overwhelming response. We have 6 months before this comes out. We're going to have a whole bunch of things, a whole bunch more." He said a full trailer, more clips, full posters, and much more will be coming out over the next 6 monts, including the name, which he will NOT reveal today.

So, the film is NOT a Godzilla movie, it is an original monster movie, and it is NOT called Monstrous!

What time of day did the pics show up on the 1-18-08.com website? Seems like the last one got posted around 4 or 5 pm Eastern time. Trying to see if maybe there's a pattern of some kind.

The flash works differently on the site now. Pics don't pop to the front when you click on them, you have to slide them out from under and then on top. Also, has the page title changed? I just noticed it's "--" now.

The 5th pic appears to show the guy who took the video in the trailer I'm guessing. Notice the 'HD' on the gray item above his head, most likely the LCD from the camera.
