 		Don't think the hidden words are going to be here that soon..

EDIT: Colby replied to my survival guide email, saying the link wouldnt work. I had to c&p it to an email for him. (i know this information is pointless) He also said he was leaving at 8:00PM. I sent it to him just in time (7:52PM). Hopefully he got it in time. No replies as of yet.

EDIT 2: New Colby blog posting. He says again that the links we have been sending him do not work. I'm starting to think that story-wise he isnt supposed to get some of the info we sent him. Something probably happens to him, that if he read our guide, he would be able to stop. (if that makes sense, you know what I mean!) anyways, i guess we will find out tomorrow. ill still post the guide in his reply box on the site like he asked. (i already sent it in email form, might as well make it a double).

Anyways, nothing seems to suspicious in this new posting. Especially nothing relating to the hidden words... oh well patience is a virtue.

yeah i think youre right... but one thing that bothers me is if that post really was written on july 7th, that would mean it was written two days before the aliens landed here for good. (They landed on June 30th also, but only briefly as the document said)...

Sorry I can't input much right now, I've been really busy. No response to any of my messages... I think this one might be drawing to an end, and I'm going to peacefully back out ;]

Yea, knowah Im sayin.

Colby sent me the same "links won't open" mail. It's probable that releasing the "detection list" was just a cool way to have the fictional world react to the players. If Colby were to actually go to Unton armed with Superior Knowledge, he wouldn't be in as much danger.

 		Maybe because the page was linked to the rest of the wiki and he considered that OOG. I c+p'ed the Guide and emailed it to him. I never heard back from him though so I don't know if I caught him in time.

EDIT: No. I didn't. My comment time is 8:53 and he was leaving at 8. I'm on Central time and they're on Eastern. I'm a little slow. If only I had gotten off of work an hour earlier.

i sent him the guide at 7:52PM just in time. I sure hope colby doesnt say something like his laptop broke or was stolen and he can only talk to us randomly from libraries, etc.

btw i was going to have an even better moving avatar, but it moved too quickly and i felt like i was going to have a seizure just by watching it lol it was strobe - like

EDIT: I emailed Colby telling him if he had any updates, and didnt want to post them on his blog he could email me. (since he usually only posts there once a day). I also told him to try to find Gabriels mother. I guess I didnt realize the extent of the disappearances. Here is his reply:

I replied to this telling him to lay low and keep a low profile until I was able to discuss a gameplan with you guiys. I also told him to avoid open areas because in a town with no people, they stick out like a sore thumb. My final bit of advice was to find a small mirror so he could look around corners without having to stick his head out. (just like jail lol)

So what now guys? This rather puzzling.

thats an idea. or it could one of those things where they are all in the same place, such as a church or assembly hall.

I doubt they got beamed up to a ship, seeing as though the agent said they arrived here.

They have to be somewhere. All together in one place, like a cult. Ill ask Colby if he has checked any place like this.

I don't exactly know how to do it but...

It looks like Colby has the run of the town.

If it's not time or dimension travel, the townspeople are probably up in the woods doing strange stuff with the "ship". That's what happens in the movies.

thats what i originally thought but why the dash at the end? its not like its located next to the "w" key, so to me it looks intentional

then again, maybe he went to go type the "i" key (the dash is somewhat near it) and was attacked.

    - We need to talk to gabriel, possessed or not.


    - As for the woods idea, at least were in agreement that the people in town are SOMEWHERE altogether. This means if colby stumbles across them, hes definitely going to have his hands full.

there has been some good ideas, anyone else have anything to add? ill keep colby updated as i have been.
- when i send colby another email, i want to list our ideas and credit those that thought of them. So far we have...

The townspeople are probably:

    - in a church/assembly hall - Smooth


    - underground (sewer, chamber, etc *new thought*) - Smooth


    - taken by the agents and have been quarantined (another new thought) - Smooth


    - in the woods (or wherever the ship is located) - AngriBuddhist


    - controlled by aliens that are nocturnal, and will show themselves at night - Cissmiace

I also have another idea. Remember, on behindproject5224, the post said "...there will be a systematic extermination of the alien threat, to take place late next week.."

If the townspeople were possessed by aliens, they would be considered an alien threat. That means they would be killed.
