I disagree. If you look at slusho.jp, there is a google tracker that appears to count the number of people who go from slusho.jp to slushozoom.com, or vice-versa. I would paste the link, but its huge. Also, just the fact that slusho.jp references slushozoom so much leads me to believe that it is related.

Please stop arguing. We're not just saying it's OOG because we feel like it. A lot of work has gone in to this. It's disrespectful when people have done a lot of footwork, but you just don't agree.

Just to appease you, from the whois for slushozoom:
Creation Date: 2007-07-12
This is a gamejack. They want you to donate money to them. It's a gamejack.

Alright--my apologies didn't mean to be rude. Was just trying to figure out why when I look at the activity in Safari when slusho.jp is up, a google-analytics.com script is running that has slushozoom.com in its parameters...but if people have figured out that its not connected, then its not connected.

It's OK.
I don't know much about this whole google analytics thing, but maybe it's just tracking where ppl go from slusho.jp. Since slushozoom.com is a very logical option to try, it's probably a pipe with major traffic.

OMG

O.K., I was just on the Slusho site, looking at Happy Talk.
I was clicking the next quote button, and a new one pooped up.
It was the cartoon girl in the dress, and the quote she was saying was

"Slusho is people!"

Pardon?
I'm not sure if anyone else has posted this yet, I'm still sifting through the 80 odd pages of specuation.

The Happy Talk section features emails written by users to satoshi.

"Slusho is people!" is a play off of the famous sci-fi horror classic "Soylent Green", in which the only food supply for the entire planet turns out to be made out of people ("Soylent Green is people! It's people!!!)

Didn't find this in searching, so did anyone notice that there's six flavors, keeping very true to the 6 theme?

There's gotta be some combination of flavors that will let you get further into the game. But that's a lot of combinations to try out, there's gotta be a clue to it somewhere else. Anyone lookup anagrams for the flavor names yet?

What if the slusho site is set up just like the new myspace pages. As we get closer to 1-18-08, it starts setting up a story? What we're seeing now is Slusho as it is on 7/28, rather than Slusho as it will be on 1/17?

Has anyone noticed that the jellyfish in the history section now has a thought bubble with a hammer?

Knock yourself out.

Blueberry Zoom
Chocolate Rage
Mikan
Nashi
Banana Anime
Strawberry Tasty

I think they're just cutsey flavor names, but if anagrams zoom your slusho, by all means go for it. Smile

octopus

The octopus now thinks of a hammer in the history section

Octopus/hammer
Donkey/oven mitt
Fish/ cheese

I think they will feed more clues like this that will make sense later in the game.

Well, apparently Mikan is a Japanese citrus fruit, and Nashi is a Japanese pear.
Why don't they have "last" names?

OT - reminds me of a type of yogurt we have in Israel - the names of the flavors are a fruit with an adjective describing it (i.e frisky watermelon or lovesick banana. lol.). Just reminded me of it.
