I still think that quote is worth looking into. Possibly a web address hidden in there somewhere?

The quote in the sig is the last few lines of a poem in an e-mail that AR sent out to radom people on the bungie forums. That e-mail also contained either the first or second glyph we had seen.

Since it says "begins" not "began" it makes me think that something new is happening, not all of the origional forerunner/flood/halo stuff. This must mean that we'll not only learn about what already happened but what is going to happen
