Are the quotes on happy talk from us? or are they from slusho? Some of them are pretty strange

It's debateable, I personally don't think so, as the way the quotes are written seem to fit with the rest of the badly translated english on the site. Others, though, feel the opposite.

I've heard (sorry, no link) that this is a super-secret film being directed by J.J. Abrams. It's being made in NYC with mostly unknown actors and the entire film will be shown from the point of view of hand held video cameras...much like Blair Witch. There's some speculation that the film is actually an adaption of Steven King's The Dark Tower series. Amazing that something like this can be kept quiet.

Ok, I'm not sure if this will help or not, but I was in Burbank recently (about 2-3 weeks ago) and we all decided to take a studio tour of Warner Bros.

During the tour we passed a huge set (it was outside) of NYC. They were still constructing the set, but off to the side there were several military vehicle.

The tour guide sad he couldn't tell us what it was for because they wouldn't tell him. He kept saying it was a big secret project. I'm not sure if WB is involved with this, but just thought I'd throw that info out there.

I came across this: http://www.slusho.org/. Check out the old trailer for "The Beast". At the end you can see Warner Bros. in there. Are they behind this?

yo Josh, more with the morse code stuff, if you translate the bubbles and blinks that the horse makes in the underwater page of slusho, it comes out to be Quote: NAMETIDEMANSTERBURU. i keep getting that result, i think i'm fucking up though cause it's one letter away from (if you seperate it into words) Name: Tide Monster Buru.

http://www.newanimal.org/buru.htm

even with that, JJ did say that it would be a completely original monster, totally new, so i don't know

I saw this on the 1-18-08 facebook group. Can someone verify?

edit: I've been trying really hard to record it, but it's really difficult. If I could just video capture it and slow it down... It's definitely not doing the same thing every time I reload the page. Or at least it's not starting the supposed 'morse code' cycle in the same place.

Bump. I'm really interested on whether or not it's code...

It's Paramount, not Warner Bros., and we've confirmed that it isn't the Beast from 20,000 fathoms. Oh, and I think slusho.org is OOG, but I'm not positive. Can anybody back me up on this one?

slusho.org says itself that its a fan site, but I don't think that was the point of the original post.

At any rate, I think Abrams is showing the influence of many different movies. The Beast from 20,000 fathoms is just one of many.

Another movie he's quoting is soylent green.

In the quotes section of the slusho.jp website, the girl says "Slusho is people!!!", a direct reference to the famous quote from soylent green "Soylent Green is people!"

Hope that hasn't been pointed out already, just thought it would be interesting.

EDIT: Just noticed that on the slusho site the name of the person in charge of the customer services is called Satoshi.

Have we heard that name before?

I know this is probably another ARG, but from the advertisement here
http://www.billion2one.org/
they ask us to find a man called Satoshi. Maybe that's a very common name, is just strange that it's also the one listed at Slusho!

It's been mentioned here at least once before, and yeah, it's for another ARG. But I won't chew you out over it. We are human, after all.

Human... Human... Human... Human...
Human... Human... Human... Human...
Human... Human... Human... Human...
Human... Human... Human... after all. Laughing

http://store.slusho.jp/v/vspfiles/templates/14/css/Imports.css

Try checking it out and see if there's anything useful. I hardly know anything about html so if anyone wants to explore go ahead

http://store.slusho.jp/a/j/javascripts.js
