Okay, I downloaded a program. (I really need to be able to hear these things.)

I split the message into 5 parts and did as much clean up as I could. Part 5 doesn't need any, and part 4 is precisely as messed up as Richard indicated. Part 2, the indecipherable part... I don't know for certain, and I'll keep working on it, but it might be something that was chopped up and spliced back together.

I need more time, but... I think we might not have much from the sound of it.

(Now, let's see if I can do this attachment part right and post these parts.)

Here's the "Fox Reality" bit, from ZC's "part 4", reversed, sped up and pitch shifted up. Added an EQ to isolate it a bit.

Okay, working on part 4, where it seems to be saying a whole bunch of things, I've pulled... -three- pieces out of it.

Here they are with what I think they're saying:

Note: since one of these is a repeat of the last thing said before this section, and there seems to be another sound in there (although, at this point, I'm a bit befuddled and can't be sure), I keep thinking there should be a way to yank certain sounds out of an audio track based on a sound sample you already have, but either my program can't do it, my skills fail to meet the task or both.

She also posts a blurry picture of a car fender and license plate.

The license plate appears to be a Kansas plate with KAZ 2Y5 on it, which would be the -old- license plate number on Dean's Impala.

They changed plates, and that's not the plate anymore. (assuming timeline for the ARG is current, which it might not be)

I've sent Tanya an email with some of the sound files and asked if the voices sound familiar to her.

I also sent this to the Winchesters (following up on my earlier statement to them that I'm a researcher and indicating that I know what Hunters are).

FWIW:

A guidebook called Offbeat New Orleans asserts that the real House of the Rising Sun was at 826-830 St. Louis St. between 1862 and 1874 and was purportedly named for its madam, Marianne LeSoleil Levant, whose surname translates to "The Rising Sun."

Nice work!

I wonder, btw, about 'The Animals' and a fox? Interesting. Think we should keep our eyes out for that. Come to think of it, so should she. Any legends or folklore about Foxes that might be appropo? Sounds like New Orleans is a good idea.
