I'm afraid my journey wasn't that fruitful.

Whilst I did locate the book at the bookstore, I couldn't find it at the library, and so I couldn't get a copy. I can't buy a copy right now, so it may be some time.

I tried taking a few pictures on my mobile phone, i'll post them here, but they wont reveal much. I got page 107 and 108.

hey nice, well there are 3 copies in my local Chapters... but it's $35 Confused

I doubt there's anything in there required for the arg, so it might just be nice for a good read. I have Hawking's A Brief History of Time, and it's really quite intriguing, though fairly dated now (1988). This book was released in 2001, so I'm sure it's pretty updated. I might have to check it out.

Did he say page 108? as in possibly something to do with modus 108?

Being the file needed to be renamed as a GIF, is it possible that the image was a clue to look to this book but that the real image we should be looking at is Fig. 10.8 (if there is one in the book) ?

Weird thing about it is that thats the same excat picture from the snow pic i think...Isnt it? did bungie just use that picture with the formula on it to overlay it or is just me imagining things...Also I think it would have anything to do with 108 UNLESS they got it from THAT book and it just happened to have it on page 108 even though the formula is on page 107 >.>

It was purposely done. Some guy at the Bungie Forums found it out. But there must be something on that page, since both are on it.

Well this is our main clue for now I think we just need to figure out how this ties in with halo...Anyone know actual purpose for this formula other then who it is made by and stuff like...When was this formula ever used in a real situation then switch the varibles out with haloibles (i unno crazy word Halo Varibles) Such as halo or master cheif or the flood and see if we get anything.

Well from looking at the photo with the formula in it I dont think we can figure out an order to put the glyphs in I think its trying to tell us where to look for the next clue...Has any looked in any of the other pictures to see if you could see any hidden image? Right now im sorta spooked from watching all these clips and stuff its really starting to freak me out...

I saw someone say it was something to do with the formula to make a halo...that would make this SOOOO much easier but I think it has to do with some other idea and not making the halos...but that would be cool...

I misunderstood what you said and got an idea...Maybe it has to do with one of the halo books? if you have the halo books check page 108/107 on all of them and see if you find anything that matchs this formula.
