Most of us took that for a red herring. Its completely unchanged from that website. In fact, we found 2 or 3 other pages where grngecko used images from this site that were completely unchanged. After messing with them for a while, it was generally accepted that they were all red herrings. If you can figure out something different that gets around the blocks, please PM me. I'd be very interested to hear it.

Yeah, that's the image, and from what the creator said on that page, it doesn't sound like there's a code there. Back to the block path. Thanks for the info.

Okay, I'm entirely confused at the red river page.

I figured out what the characters were, and decoded it and know what the message is, but I can't figure out where to go from there.

(edit): whoa, nevermind, found it. I don't even understand how that worked Shocked

(edit 2): made it up to the tarot card and I think that's it for me today -- the circles and rot puzzles sucked the life out of me.

Hey there. Coming in here to throw my hat into the ring, so to speak, on this one. I've been working for a day or two and have a map of the roaches that I'm working on. I hope to catch up to all of you soon!

Edit: Got it! I'm on my way...

I've been working on this for a while, and I've looked on three different forums trying to solve the blood river one. While I have the text translated, deciphered, I know the author, and I've even found an answer. But I honestly don't think it's the right one since it takes me back to the deja vu page. Which is weird because it's not the webaddress for the original deja vu page. Help..please?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the long and short lines on the wands
but I don't understand how to decipher it.

Ok, I promised myself I wouldn't ask for help, at least until I had caught up, but I've spent two days staring at the rotting level, and I think I'm overthinking it entirely now.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I've translated the text, I found the source, I've tracked the Rot I used on every line, and looking at them either in letter form or number form, I can't see anything there. I'm at a dead end, and completely stuck. Any help would be appreciated!

edit: Thank you tipsila! Apparently, I don't know right from left. Razz

Girl with tape on her mouth

Hi all, new here..

I've skimmed this thread and I think I may be on an alternate path. I don't see any mention of a girl with tape over her mouth. Either it's simple and everyone is blowing by it... or I'm somewhere else.

Anyone else been here? What's the hint?

You're on the right track. I don't remember what puzzle that was though, just the image. What else is on the page?

An encoded message. I'm assuming it's some sort of character replacement. I just thought the girl represented some form of a clue to the solution... similar to the golden scarab.

I can't remember if the girl is a clue or not, but it sounds like you're on the right track.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
When decoding, the position of each character within the text is important as well. Look for a method which takes into account the position of a character in the text as well as the character itself. If in doubt, look at a site like purplehell.com for more help.

Thanks, King.. I'm poking around. Nice to know I'm on the right track.

I read on a previous page some of you were cracking the runes the hard way. There is a runic alphabet out there that matches.
