Re: lost numbers

Could it be that the LOST numbers are the proper ratios for the flavour game. The numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23 and 42. It's close to 100% at 108. Also what could be the right sequence, by characters ages?

Anyway I tried left to right from blueberry to strawberry and never got anything spectacular. (dunno if I counted right though).

My hands too shaky for counting numbers on the gauge(gotta cut back on the frappacinos).

I thought there were only 7 positions on the flavor sliders? And I also thought a LOST tie in was eliminated?

Searching the forum for octopus and hammer turned up a lot of results.

I just wanted to mention that there is a Hammer Octopus.
There are cheese fish crackers.
That donkey might be a mule, thats why he is thinking of a pot holder. Using puns?

Someone also pointed out, a while back, that there are such things as "donkey mittens." I don't know if that's what they're called, but apparently, people use mittens to keep a donkey's ears warm.

I've actually got a bag/pack of cheese fish crackers - they're damn good. Anyway, on the bag/pack, it says "Cheddar" and "Baked with real cheese" and there's a cartoon image of a holey wedge of cheese; and, of course, several lil' tasty cracker-fish are 'swimming around' on the bag/pack as well. This is the ONLY place, other than Slusho!, where I've actually seen fish and a block of cheese in the same place. I didn't think fish crackers could have any connection until you pointed out the Hammer Octopus. Good find.

Goldfish crackers? Yummy!

Stego...

well i have heard of people using stego in ARGs before but this is looking slim. for one thing, sometimes stegdetect tells me theres something there, and other times it tells me that there isnt. also ive thrown some pretty intense password files at this thing and im getting nothing. can anyone else take a look and confirm or deny that there might acctualy be something in this picture?

I guess no one reads any of the posts in this topic. I decompiled the FLAVORS.swf, and there is nothing in the flash that points to anything specific if you get an exact combination of flavors. There is no hidden text, images, links, ANYTHING. I think it is there to mess with us until it is updated when more clues are released.

As of right now, there is nothing of any importance having to do with the flavor game.

not to keep belaboring this (it's on the 'possible creature theory' thread right now), but if there's nothing hidden in the flavors 'game' on the Slusho! site, it could still have significance, as a general clue about the nature of the monster; that it is some kind of "chimera", i.e., a mixture of various animals, rather than one big uniform thing (like a big lizard or lion, etc.). Or, it could just mean that the secret ingredient in Slusho! is: red herring.

I guess the obvious questions is, have you tried SLUSHOZOOM?

i made you a cheezbergar, but i eated it.

and on a serious note. as far as the stego is concered i am inclined to believe its red herring. the only option i can think of is that if there is data there, it could be encrypted. does anyone have invisible secrets? i'd install it here if this wasnt a work computer. heh.

A red herring? Perhaps. But what are the odds that we find an image with a clearly trademarked phrase incorrectly displayed on a product they're trying to sell, that ends up detecting as stegged, with the password being ZOOM! This cannot be simply dismissed as coincidence. This is intentional.
