so, could be nothing, but on the store page, all the hands in the background look suspicious, so quick google, revealed that alot of them resembles japanese sign language symbols, but couldnt get much out of it, maybe someone else could check it out, also thought about looking into numerical values for the hands(finger counting).. just a thought

Doubles
Doubles

I have to say, it's SOMETHING to do with double letters. They're everywhere.

On the main shop page.
SLUSHO! MAKE YOU FeeL FReeZING, NOW SLUSHO! MAKE YOU LooK CooL!

That's delibrate. Make you feel freezing? >_>; Riiigghhtt.

Someone needs to look more into alphabetical figurings, trying to take hints from double lettered words and whatnot.

While you could argue that the text on the History pages is supposed to sound like it was written (or translated) by a native Japanese speaker with less-than-stellar English language skills, some of the word choice and ordering would seem to be deliberate ("while the other children opened their fun, she rather experimented") and a code makes sense.

The thing that sticks out to me (other than the double letters, of course) is the fact that Noriko Yoshida is named, her father is named (Ryouta Yoshida), her son is named (Ganu), but Ganu's cousin is not named. You would think the guy who now co-runs Slusho! with Ganu (and used to run it all by himself while Ganu was off playing marine biologist) would be called out by name on the company's website. Also, Yoshida is Noriko's father's name, and therefore her maiden name. If she got married and took her husband's name before Ganu was born (as would be typical, I'd guess), then Ganu would have a different last name. Curiously, it's never mentioned.

This absence of information, especially after Noriko's father's name is carefully spelled out in a parenthetical after he's mentioned, leads me to believe there's something, erm, fishy going on with the word choices and ordering - enough that it could be concealing an embedded message, if only we could figure out the cipher.

On the other hand, it could just be someone's idea of how Japanese translated too literally into English sounds...

Indeed, but yeah.. I definatley smell some kind of word puzzle.
Will the number 6 being so pominent, the strange arangement of empty, raised, unraised, and full cups at the bottom, the use of double letter words, exclamation points, and odd translation.. it can't be nothing.

A thread should be made SPECIFICAL dedicated to working on the text aspect of this, there's definatley something.

Also, I was lead to believe his cousin was Satoshi, as it's the only other named mentioned, but only in the feedback link.

Also, the strange capitalization of random words..

Not only that, you get an auto-reply when you email the feedback... why? It must have some importance too.

I've been focused almost solely on the words of slusho, and I'd like to see a group of people try as well.

Also, there's the whole /media/ folder of the site which has yet to be well explored.

Weird images not found anywhere else like a1_slusho.gif?

MEH! I'm trying to find anything here.

 hidden text found
slushozoom.com

Idea i was checking on slushozoom.com just for kicks, and clicked around on the pictures a bit and found some intriguing things. lots of links to different places. there are also two tiny hyperlinks at the bottom that you can click on. some people have said that this site is not related, but it was intriguing to check out anyway. here is some hidden text i found on it:
"The meek shall not inherit the earth"
"T (the hyperlinks) I"
"Did the past ever exist, if there is no proof?"
"Knowing Art by Name is not as important as knowing art by site"
"All is not as it appears"

Hey, whatever floats your boat. Just don't post about an OoG website in a thread devoted to slusho.jp, ok?

(one sec, i'll find the thread for that waste of bandwidth...)

Here's one, but beware further wrath if you bump it: [OOG] Picture linked in slushzoom? -- there may be others.
