[SPEC] Missing Forunner Entity If you go to Halo3.com you can see that you don't see the picture of the forerunner Entity / Item is not in detail / pictured, it just the black shape and its been like this for a while. This most definitely proves that the opening of Server 03 was Premature.

The server was open right on schedule. Just look at the date of the secret transmission file for proof: "Transmission_072507.mp3"
July 25th, 2007.
Also, the next set of clues show up somewhere tomorrow August 1st "801snpow.jpg".
Everything is on a two week schedule:
Day 0 a server is opened
Day 7 new clues and hints to explain what was found on the server
Day 14 the cycle starts over.

Actually no, the schedule hasn't been static as you can see on the game calendar , events have been quite interspersed. 20 between the server 1 and 2, 16 days between server 2 and 3 (by the actual key availability)
And there's no evidence that "801" is signifant; on the contrary, plenty of evidence that "modus108" is the intent of the name. It's doubtful anything will happen tomorrow. Server 3 opened before we expected, and against any previous prediction that had been made. At this point there's really no rhyme or reason to the opening of the servers except that they're anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks between opening. And information revelation has been the same - no set date, sometimes all in one, sometimes spread out.

I kind of agree with him. Wasnt server 3 opened just a few days ago? This wouldnt exactly have been the second week...
But, I do think the 8/01 might hold something still

Server 3, was opened on the 26th, a day after the date on the recording.
Additional clues have generally showed up on the dates hidden in the file names, such as the 719Hz file was a hint for July 19th, when all of the ringtones and backgrounds, etc. showed up.
The dates in the file names seem to be there to get us looking for stuff on those dates.
What we have to remember is that this is a viral add campaign, with a lottery mixed in (the first 100 to activate the server win a prize).
Microsoft, more then likely made this game so random, to allow anybody to 'Jump In' at any time and still have a shot at winning some free swag.
Besides, if we knew the exact date and time the servers would go live (save for the first one) interest would die in the interum. This way we're always speculating and are always on our toes wanting to be one of the lucky few to activate a server and feel like we're really contributed.
In a nutshell, they regularly give us something on a Wednesday or Thursday, but they keep the server launches random enough that we're always hungry for more.

Well it just seems that the information they give us will give us no clue other then the date it opens...We are searching for too much I believe and its just gonna be a new icon in the weapons thing or something and you get to unlock the new one...=/

I doubt they would do that again because if they are paying attentions to the forums disscussing the game and care anything about what the players think, i really doubt they would do the same thing for server 4 as 3 since nobody really liked it

Being the formula was hidden within the unassuming image of a Forerunner wall, there's a very good possibility that the next entry point will be hidden in plain view.
This seems to be the general theme of this ARG 'everything is hidden is plain sight'
The Ark is in our own backyard, the secret message on the Kiosk, the hidden formula, etc.
It's more then likely to once again be a Halo 3, related server or I could be completely wrong and the whole time travel formula could mean that we should be looking at http://www.ilovebees.com/ for something new.
Right now it's just a waiting game.

At some point between the beginning of this thread and this posting the image for server 3 has gone up.

I just noticed that the countdown timer on ilovebees.com is counting down to early November, 2552. Cute.

For them to have named the file so accurately would have been almost impossible unless they planted one person to it so they can solve it first and spread it, its weird. It could have been formatted to name itself on the dat its opened first.

I think we missed the clues leading towards Server 03. There might have been a direction to an in-game site in one of the Samsung/MSN Glyphs, which might have led to another FCC-like race to the Server. But I don't think we came across the clues, and therefor Bungie released the Server status programs as a sort of wake up call.

I think that Bungie tricked us into dong all this work wen the answer was so simple, it was also the first time a sound file was with a server, it seemed kinda obvious it was going to be important, and the rest of the information that was consecutive (kinda) will be more important starting now.
