Here's the $1,000,000 question: When has MrAJ *ever* kept his word? He makes an offer, someone (*cough* Trinket *cough*) accepts it, and then he goes "HA HA HA", getting what he wants and giving nothing in return.
So he asks for us to give up the chase? In return he'll send our friends up into the temple. How can we trust that will happen? We need a bargaining chip. So, just thinking while jogging, I wonder if we could offer that last soul ready for him *AFTER* our friends are in ravencells (i.e. available for us to take with when we go through the portal).

Could this work? I'm not sure how, but it's just a thought. We have until Friday night I suppose (or Saturday morning, depending on how he counts the days).

True, but he seems too stubborn to do such. I mean, if he's persistent enough to try to resurrect himself, what makes you think he'll agree to those terms? If we do nothing, then we get thrown down the in-between. Of course, if we do hand over Happy... Then we still get thrown down the in-between.

Go for it. Seems like the only thing to do, other than just go face first into the in-between.

I know I'm new, but what's the worst he'll do? Say no? O.k., he might get really angry and revoke the offer entirely. Worse case scenario. I think if it were put to him right though, even if he says no, it could go all right.

Seems like a good idea to me, and it'd be nice to gain some protection for ourselves in the deal.

Well, why do you think he's offering the deal in the first place? He's scared ottomanless. He knows that if Mithras wanted to he could squash AJ like a summer squash. I say to Missouri with him.

Oh, and not that anyone is excited about this possibility, but let's say AJ succeeds and gets into Alan. What's to stop someone from, I don't know, putting Alan out of his misery? What happens to AJ then?

Ok, I admit to being confused about all of this most of the time but it seems to me the eidolon is giving us what we want. All we need is for the DoEP to be released. He is the one who knows the in between. When he is released he can gather everyone up and out of the in between and from under the nave. Then we say the words that get them out and close the portal. No?

Oh and if the eidolon does get into little Alan we can use the same ritual to chase him out and send him back to the temple that Happy used on Dwin.

I think we need to fight this with confusion. If all the darksiders were to tell eidolon one name each that they think is the traitor and if everybody is named he has what he wants but is no closer to getting to any of us.

My suggestion is to email eidolon with a name maybe the name below yours on the darksiders list and also preach your own innocence then he will (hopefully) be confused about who is the traitor

The only aside to this is if kona and my name is included in that list as we seem to be above the accusations

Of course this may backfire and he may get frustrated with it and send us all to the in-between
