I found Lien Meihui on Myspace http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=222764060
Her "About Me" profile states the following:
Quote:
I am a consultant with the Hung Society in Taipei, Taiwan. On the Eastern Gate, 'To the East where the element of wood stands it is difficult to go, Sun, Moon, mountains, and streams all come from the Eastern seas.' On the Southern Gate, 'The fiery road to the element of fire is hot, But in the distance Chang, Ts'uen, P'ing and Nankin it is cold.' On the Western Gate, 'On the narrow road of the element of metal you must be careful, Of the two paths it is clear that there is no impediment on the one which leads to the West.' On the Northern Gate, 'At the sign of Yin-kui the water is deep and difficult to cross, But in Yun-nan and Sze-Chuen there is a road by which you can travel.'
She works for the "Hung Society Foundation" in Taipei, Taiwan.
EDIT: I just found this site about the Hung Society when I Googled the text: http://www.capital.net/~phuston/hung.html

I added Lien and left her a message explaining about the puzzle and how it led to her. Hoping for a response soon. As to the Hung society, it's too early for me to be reading that much but something caught my eye. Look at the magic number square.

Good luck.

Under "Archives" Image 003. There is a statement that directs you to the folder.

Does your browser allow Flash, as this is a Flash site?
When you load the page, you should see The Genesis Code By Christopher Forrest with "enter here" right below it. When you click on that, look to the top right of the page. There is a column of links: The Genesis Code, Log Entries, Multimedia, Archives, Contact Me.
If you are not seeing that, it may be a problem with your browser.

Aha, bloody browser. Thanks for that.
PS. Now that things are kicking off and there is a lot of info to be had, any chance a Mod could make us a new playspace?

On the puzzle audio, my best guess is that it's a Penn Station announcement about Amtrack train # 73 (The Carolinian and Piedmont) on platform 4.
Can't validate a 12:44 time, though.
Here's a link to the best "Amtrack train #73" schedule I could find.
http://www.amtrak.com/timetable/apr07/T04.pdf
Penn Station is the station that would serve Chinatown, which the map is centered on and that we seem to have a picture directing our attention to.
ETA: I really hope solving Puzzle #1 doesn't involve friending people on MySpace.

Lien and Grace Related? I've sent messages to both Lien and Grace. Since they are both Asian, maybe they are related or know one another. Also sent one to Dr. Madison. None have been returned nor answered yet. Will update if I get answers. Have to go get smart about Hung...

ALSO 260 email from 7/25 Don't remember if it was mentioned but the email I rec'd dated 7/25 contained a graphic of a blue on black cadduceus. The subject line was: 260. That connects with the music file on TGC site that sounds vaguely familiar to me but just can't put my finger on what it is...sender of that email has an address similar to CF's: Thisisthebeginningoftheancient_rqrtywySPLAT cmpgnr.com compared to CF's christopher_forrest_rqryqzsSPLAT cmpgnr.com

Lien's numbers Has anyone figured out the significance of the numbers in Lien's myspace page? They are 222764060.
Edit: Please do not use the numbers as a telephone number in Taipei. The person who answers is definitely not in game.
