What next?! Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone cared for some mindless speculation on what will be next for those of us who have applied for jobs...
I was thinking that maybe we'll have some more puzzles to solve - like the first ones who actually find the office can go and be interviewed!!! Anyone have any thoughts on how things will go from here (Adrian... Dan.... <G>)? I'm dying to hear something - I'd hate for me to accept some crappy job when I could be doing something really amazing instead.

Question to anyone who has applied - have you had any bizarre emails, which looked like spam, but might not have been, since you applied?

I've had plenty of emails which looked like spam. I always do. They are spam, IME... in this day and age it's a little unfair to "disguise" stuff as spam, no?

But surely that only works when you're expecting a message. Sending it out randomly seems somewhat unfair...

Interesting...I've been getting a lot of spam, but I've been disregarding all of it as just that. Of course, I always get a lot of spam, so it means nothing.
Regardless of job applications, is it likely that e-mails would be sent to either applicants or players disguised as spam?
Perhaps some direction from the more experienced players, or from Adrian/Dan?

you could always do what I do. Use an email address solely for ARGs. I've even gone so far as to divide it up to a different email for each game. aware@....com, projectsyzygy@....com, etc.
I know, I know that may ruin some of the immersion, but it helps me keep things straight and I'll trade a little immersion for a little organization.

I can assure you that any emails from Syzygy will not be disguised as junk. We do actually want people to read them

That SpamMimic site is cool!
Have to say I was thinking along the spam lines myself (kind of why I started the topic - to see if I was the only one so paranoid!). I have been checking my spam more carefully, but I don't think I've had anything either. Like Adrian says, surely they would want us to read it!

hehe yeah it is. I started doing it when I missed a mail in Chasing the Wish by accidentally deleting it.
