On Rob's myspace blog, his first entry is called "anti-blog" and, in it, he says:
"I won't be signing on here to tell you about my day, or cut and paste song lyrics that mean something to me, or post photos of my cousins' baby..."

The curious thing is that he does post a photo of a baby, Dominick Hawkins. And, he does go on to talk about his day(s) in the next two blog entries. So, can we assume that he's being funny/ironic when he says what he won't do? And, that Dominick is Rob's cousin's baby? So, who's his cousin?

Also, by that logic, while he didn't actually "cut and paste song lyrics," the song on his page still means something (to him). Of course, "Girl is on my mind" could just mean "Oh, how I long for you, Beth!" But, it could also be a general signpost, pointing towards the various songs & their lyrics.

when I searched for asa branca lyrics, google provided a rough translation... from what I understood it's a love song to mother earth, or a woman.. again it's a rough translation, but there's a theme in the lyrics... now if they lead to anything is another question...

i was just looking at the lyrics to the song on jamie's page, Dashboard, and the lyrics seem to reference quite a few things!

First off, it talks about broken windshields of a car, but how they still have the radio...hmm, sounds kind of like the picture that jamie put on rob's page with the radio coming out of the windshield of the car. the song even references swiss cheese! The song kind of looks at destruction with a nonchalant feel, sort of like "hey, everything is going to be alright even though the world is coming to an end!" lol

Speaking of that pic w/the broken car window and boombox... I think I've figured out each person's relative age. I posted a similar run-down, a few days ago, on the 'Slusho! features added July 27' thread, but I've narrowed some things down since then, so...

from oldest to youngest, it should go like this (and, I hope I got this math right):

1. Hawk. He is the oldest, at 28, and he is a Pisces (2/20-3/20). So, he already turned 28 this year. His birthday is sometime between 2/20/79 and 3/20/79.

2. Beth. She is 26, and her myspace blog identifies her birthday as August 25. So, she will turn 27 in a few weeks. Her birthday is 8/25/80.

3. Rob. He is also 26 and a Virgo, like Beth, so his b-day is somewhere between 8/22/80 and 9/23/80, and he'll also be turning 27 very soon. Since that only leaves 3 possible dates that would make him older than Beth, he's probably younger than her, w/his b-day coming between 8/26 and 9/23. He could still be older than Beth, but it's unlikely.

4. Lily. She is 26 and a Libra (9/24-10/23), so she will turn 27 in a few months. Her b-day is between 9/24/80 and 10/23/80.

5. LenaDia. She is 26 and a Taurus (4/21-5/21), which means she already turned 26 in 2007. So, her b-day is between 4/21/81 and 5/21/81.

6. Hud. he's tricky b/c he's 26 and a Leo (7/23-8/21), so depending on what day is his b-day, he either just turned 26, or will turn 27 any day now. Because none of them have said anything about his upcoming b-day, I'm assuming it already happened, and here's where that picture of the radio in the car window comes into play: it was on July 23 and since it was taken "10 minutes after" Rob and some other people "left" we can guess it was a party... possibly it was Hud's b-day party? If so, then his b-day is 7/23/81. [alternatively, if his b-day is yet to come, then he'll turn 27 very soon, making his b-day somewhere between 8/1/80 (today) and 8/21/80, and that would make him the second oldest, after Hawk].

7. Jamie. The youngest, she is 25 and a Capricorn, and she said in her blog that she shared her b-day with Jesus, so her b-day is 12/25/81.

For what it's worth.

One thing we can get from all this: Rob, Beth, Lily, and Jamie (and possibly Hud) will all have birthdays before 1-18-08. And, Rob's and Beth's (and possibly Hud's) will be in August (i.e., any day now). So, if these myspace pages are meant to be 'live' we should definitely see a message or something about these upcoming birthdays.

Sorry this is long, but I've been looking for any potential puzzle-related themes on each myspace page and, so far, apart from the songs and there being a ton o' numbers in each blog (esp. Rob's & Hawk's), one reasonably promising area seems to be the pictures.

On Hawk's page, the theme seems to be: t-shirts. Of the 7 pics, 2 are of Hawk and Lily kissing, but the other 5 are all about t-shirts. 2/5 have Rob & Hawk posing in their "augie" and "adios" t-shirts. 1/5 is Hawk in his "title" pic (the one that leads off his myspace page), and there is a comment about his t-shirt being 'bloody' - so, again, our attention is being drawn to his tshirt. 1/5 is Hawk and some girl with "gramps" at PacSun - surrounded by T-SHIRTS... and other apparel. And, the last 1/5 is Hawk and some other guy not wearing any shirts at all. So, the general theme: shirts (on or off).

On Rob's page, one theme is his "adios" shirt, but another seems to be colors. In his title pic, he's reading at some outdoor cafe, and one thing that stands out is the bright red and yellow behind him - the table-umbrellas (or whatever you call them). In the other 5 pics, he's wearing his "adios" shirt, but there are also bright colors: Hawk is holding that blue frisbee next to his yellow (& blue) shirt; the pinata being held is blue, yellow, red & green; in the pic where he's swinging at the pinata, he's wearing a red blindfold (?) and wielding a bright green broom (I mean, c'mon - why?). Also, on Rob's blog, there is a picture of baby Dominick, and right behind the baby (on the left side of the pic), there's a blue and green bear that is colored curiously like a Slusho! flavor-combo robot (after you mix blue & green).

In Beth's pics, one theme that stands out (and this may sound odd) is people holding things. She's either holding someone else, or that dog, or a drink, or someone else is holding a phone or camera or drink, etc. EXCEPT, in the one pic where she's got her hands behind her back - not holding nothin' - and she's drinking from 3 frozen and diff. colored beverages at once. Considering the Slusho! flavor page, could that be a coincidence? Even the lights behind her, in that pic, are reminiscent of the stars on the Slusho flavor page.

In Lily's pics, there are the same 2 w/her and Hawk - can't make anything out of those. But, all the others are taken in some public place - a bar, restaurant or hotel (where she's carrying what looks like the same dog/'ewok' from Beth's pics, and she also seems to be possessed ). So, the theme/puzzle there might be: figure out where these were taken, the name of the restaurant, bar, etc.

On LenaDia's pics, the only theme I can see is that she looks very different in most of the pictures - there's even a comment from Lily about her hair looking different in one pic. There's also that crazy "Nicholas Cage" pic w/tubes coming out of her face - wtf? She looks quite different in each pic. So, there may be a theme there of changing faces, or changing appearance...?

In Hud's pics, the only thing I can see, in terms of theme, is that he's with girls who don't seem to be part of "the 7." Is it the same girl in any of the photos? (e.g., the one on the streets of Chicago, and then the one where Hud looks totally drunk/tired). Don't know. But, his "title" pic is with some as yet unidentified blond girl, and two of the other pics have an unidentified girl in them. ??

And, finally, Jamie's pics. I can't make much out of those pics in terms of a gen. theme, except that she likes to party. Then again, hers was the first myspace page to be found, and it had to be that way, since it was her full name that 'unlocked' these myspace pages. So, I'd like to think there's something to be found in her pics. One possibility I can see right now is that in the pic. w/two girls on stage w/microphones, there seem to be letters/numbers on the girl's shirt on the right. ??
