Maybe the cookies have a set expiration.

I can't even find the cookie.

Good point... maybe they were all made to expire today?

To me, this all makes sense as part of the game. Kellie's message went out after midnight on 8-1-08, after we learned from TE that there was a sudden lock-down. Some believe that Van has been at TE all along, and that might explain why he is unable to send out the message. Indeed, he could be dead now, as might Kellie Graham.

I believe we will get more clues eventually, or there are clues in Kellie's reference to the "lower D-ring testing platform" but only by picking up bits and pieces inadvertently dropped by the Mezin--unless Kellie or Van survived. Whatever is happening, Van already told us that we'd have thirty days from the 1st (not clear if that includes the 1st itself) to do something, so the real Big Day is either August 30 or 31.

In no way do I believe they just blew it. This is either intentionally part of the game or they had an incredibly ill-timed computer snafu.

If that were the case, they'd cover for it on the only site they're not hosting: the EHWW blog.

But it does make sense. After all, as mentioned elsewhere, the Alpha Omega website ( http://www.alphaomegathegame.com/ ) is now asking for a password, which is certainly not normal.

Mine didn't reset. This is a little odd. How often do you go to EHWR? I tend to habituate it, just to see if there are any changes. I also try a couple of email/name combinations to see if one would unlock something. Nothing has yet.

I expect to be yelled at again but here goes:

In the 5th video the narrator mentions we now have the keycode, and we'll have 30 days to use it beginning August 1st. On august 1st, the Alpha Omega site was passworded. Maybe the name and password is somewhere in the five puzzles and videos? Just a theory -_-

It's private. And: "3,328,089 other sites hosted on this server."

What code? I was so confused during the last video, when he said we had a code to help us. Do we? Were?

There was one video where a number flashes partway through it. About five or so numbers long. Anyone remember/know it? That might be something...

I've tried combos of...

ethanhaas
ckrox
thebeginningistheend
divinus
vanmantra

I can't remember any other obscure things, but if someone dug it up some of the random letter/number combos, the stars (seems like the best hope for a password from those, I think), etc, maybe we could go through them systematically....

Reading over the last email from TE and the follow-up from KG, I'm pretty convinced that this is all part of the game. The lock down mentioned in the "fake" KG email is, among other things, a lock down on internet communications. The writer specifically states that they hope to be back online soon. I know "online" means more than on the internet, but nearly all security protocols, especially those used by the DoD, include a lock down on electronic communications ("level 4" is apparently made up, of course). KG's "real" email also is written as if she wasn't even sure it would get out.

I think we have to figure out where the lower D-ring testing platform is, or what it's about. My guess is that the enigmatic EHWW pics are, in fact, going to show us just that. They've also been looking forward to 8-1-08, and I would imagine that tonight or tomorrow, they'll reveal what happened. Some time shortly thereafter, we'll receive another message from KG, VM, or perhaps another follower of EH seeking help.

Wow, I hope not. Missing the 8/1 deadline they promoted is going to anger so many people. Unless this is something they want only dedicated ARGers to care about. In which case... well, they spent a lot of money on it.
