[HAAS]Questions... It's all a promotion for Alphaomega, but I still have questions. What about TE?
What happened with the lockdown? Does anyone have some answers?
So, divinus resorts didn't have anything to do with it, neither ckrox. But what about the rest?

While it seemed like it AO would be an awesome post-apocalyptic RPG, it's actually more like Shadowrun. A lame futuristic RPG with random nonsense. Not at all like what EHWR really suggested. Pretty depressing. Total failure.

well, I remember vaguely that in one of the vids from EHWR, he mentions that by Aug 1st we will have the key, we will then have one month to do what we need to do with it.... I guess that means we can still play AO for a month (As if, my RPG are long over thanks. I still have D&D nightmares from the 80's). Maybe after playing for a month they will "give away" starter kits to the ARG players who stay....who knows. I'm done.

It doesn't make any sense... I only have two explanations:
1) We took too long, which doesn't seem right since they were still giving us clues yesterday.
2) The game isn't over. This makes sense in a way; how else do you explain the clues in the past three or four days?
I think it's #2. We're missing something here.

Heh. Given that the press release outs the nature of this, and outs the names of the firms they hired to run it, I think it's done.

I'm curious about this. You imply that if they gave you "something" it would make you buy their RPG. What's the "something"?
Now, since the RPG is set fifty years into the future, sure, they could continue to update their "backstory" webpages like EHWR, Triton, EHWW, etc-- but this RPG is about what happens after an apocalypse. It's hard to bring on the apocalypse. Just trust me on this.
Again, I'm just very curious what sort of resolution would make you feel like you hadn't gotten "this far for nothing."

something tells me that Mindstorm will have many tricks up their sleeve throughout the lifespan of AO... them having(or eventually having) many users tools on their webpage makes me think that they will be very active with the Alpha Omega community...frankly I think I may just pre order it if the price is reasonable(spent 2k+ on warhammer over 6 years )

The site crawls on my machine, but still...
If they would have wanted to continue the game, they would not have had the EHWR, Triton and Mezin blog pages directly redirect to it. They could have launched the AO website on its own, made a press release saying "Hey, here it is!"
That way they don't burn their bridges and, if need be, the game can continue as if the AO website never existed. Right now all roads lead straight in to the AO website and end there.
