Ok first off, i'm a tad scared to click on that link Full Throttle posted cause of how everyone is reacting...what is it, like the "Pain Series" or something else from Something Rotten?

Secondly...

I dont think Rob is "suspicious", nor do i believe he's involved, at all, with the monster directly. I believe that he's acting "odd" that way because...GASP!SHOCK!!...it's a movie, and he's acting! Razz

More so i get a feeling people will be very upset when the monster is seen in the movie, if it is seen at all because people have so many expectations that i doubt will be fulfilled. I am all but certain it'll be something far more mundane than people expect...probably a large lizard or something, a la Godzilla or Gamera, and probably only seen rarely on screen if at all. The movie is, supposedly, filmed from a Blair Witch-ish perspective meaning it's unlikely we'll get a good look at it at all. More so they'll probably have zero actual plot in the movie, since this kind of situation (filmed on video, supposedly from a first person perspective) it would be all but impossible to have the backstory explained as it would be in a normal movie, like War of the Worlds or Alien for example.

Agreed - the most effect Blair Witch style would only show us a glimpse (or two) of the thing - maybe it will stomp past while they're hiding somewhere and a shaky tilt up will reveal some vague, big thing moving overhead.

I do think Rob seemed a little suspicious throughout the party and especially after the roar. If you look at his eyes during the "main dude" part he seems apprehensive..or that could just be my imagination. I think the lack of new clues at the moment is causing all of us to become wildly speculative Rolling Eyes .

He does give a weird look during the "main dude" part, but I read that as Rob just rolling his eyes about the 'main dude' comment, and the guy who made it (i.e., they think he's a dork). Watch the trailer again w/that in mind and see if it don't seem right.

Ah yes, apprehension...

I think throughout the trailer, and this may just be through the power of suggestion, Rob does look a bit apprehensive. Keep in mind that this does appear to be a "surprise" party, which are almost notorious for being poorly timed. There's no telling where he was, or where he needs to be.

I think it's more of a nightmare coming to fruition kind of thing if we're not reading to deeply into that.

If, as it's been speculated, the monster for some reason is coming after him, it'd suck to have so many of your friends around.

I just watched the trailer again, and pretended that Rob knew something - and, actually, it kinda' works. I mean, it's a real possibility.

Here's a possible scenario for ARG/movie:

Rob & Hawk's Dad or Gramps (or both) is/are the key. They're the people on the inside of all this, or they're closely connected. So, that would at least make it possible that Rob & Hawk might think they know what's going on (if they were ever privy to their Dad's/Gramp's work). I won't say they expected it, but they - unlike everyone else - know... something. That would explain why Hawk says "think we can see anything from the roof?" (odd, in response to Earthquake reports - as someone pointed out earlier) - and also "you should have left a day earlier." The last comment seems disproportionately apocalyptic after a weird loud noise and some earthquakes. The cool thing about this is they wouldn't have to even hint at it in the movie, but could play it up online - it'd work. It's a possibility anyway.

Laughing I just realized my last post was the 82nd on a thread entitled "Suspicious Rob" and it basically amounted to me saying, "you know, come to think of it, Rob DID seem a little suspicious." Laughing Embarassed sorry.

This has all happened Before.. Don't you REMEMBER!?

It did appear in the trailer that at times Rob's body language was saying "here we go again" and at times to be smiling as though he has heard the comment several times before, like how he blew off being called the main dude.

I still think it odd that they went on the roof when there was the possibility of an earthquake. Even if they didn't believe it to be an earthquake and it was an animal, why go to the roof?

And he did push the girls out of the way before the SOL head came into view.

I figured it out. and I found the Poster to prove it.

This is all a SCAM, the truth is JJ is making a Remake, it's just that we don't remember it... We're all living the same 6 months over and over and over again. It ends with THIS MOVIE REALLY HAPPENING.

I found a relic that I think we all missed... look closely at the face, do you see someone familiar?

!!WARNING!! HUGE SPOILER

Don't say I didn't warn you
