 		 image overlays
has anyone taken the posters and overlayed them on each other to see if there's any subtle differences? i would but my image editor is below par.

There are so many people on this board that one of the nerds has probably already done it. If they found someone, they would have reported it. I think we're in the dead zone until Abrams posts the next hint - and he's got about six months to slowly release them.

 		Don't kill me if someone has said this, I searched!
So I got the graphic designer at work interested in this and had him look at the poster, and he had some interesting observations. What I may say may have been said in another post, but I used the search feature....


anyway

first and most obvious the lighting is odd to say the least. He notes that it was most likely a designers choice so you could see more of the city, but unless there was a nuclear blast, (which destroys the "finding the camera the day after" theory) there is no way this is happening at the beginning of the attack at midnight.

I believe that it is possibly sunrise of the next morning.

To back that up I point out:
1. That buildings are smoldering, not on fire
2. That the lighting is too bright for midnight.
3. There are helicopters hovering over the attack area. If this was the begining of the attack how were they there that fast.

Next, we look to the wake in the river.

The water has an underwater wake, most obvious because there is no crest, or the wake was made moments before and the crests have disipated. However if that was the case I believe you would see radiating waves (much like when you drop a rock in a pond. Also I believe that the wake is caused by the monster leaving the city. If this was the beginig of the attack, and the monster had just offed the SOL head, there would be evidence in the wake that the monster had just jumped in.

Tell me if I'm totally wrong...It's late, and I'm Tired!!

I think the poster is a time lapse, becasue it shows the city being destroyed. While at the same time it shows stuff still falling off the head of the SOL like it has just been ripped off.

Just my opinion.

 		One problem I see with the second poster is that the monster is so tall we should have been able to see it in the first posters.

 		The video is good too, the admin over at1-18-08news.com says he got an e-mail from a guy who has something to do with the cloverfield movie and this guy comfirmed a theory and gave the admin guy a few more hints so watch the video and see for yourself im in a rush so sorry for the sloppy post

They are fake. In the first poster, you can see where he cloned the clouds and one of the helicopters from the real poster.
