 		Godd, you guys are really good. I'm completely lost here. I've never understood morse code, and don't particularly know what a steg is.

Well, its easy when you cheat Wink If you google morse code, you'll find plenty of Java apps that convert for you. In the case of the audio samples, you open up the file in a sound editor and you can literally see dots and dashes. Then its simply a matter of transcribing them and converting them using the method above.

A steg is steganography. Wikipedia can fill you in there http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steganography#Usage_in_modern_printers

 		1911 - Houdini fails to escape from a large vat of Tetley's beer and almost dies. It seems the CO2 in the beer overcame him and that caused the problem.

1916 - Houdini fails to escape from a Buried Alive stunt in California.

Two things other than death he didn't escape from. The 1911 incident is well documented. The 1916 one only seems to appear on wikipedia.

 		Even though I know it's just for the show, it's still really interesting. I'm following along.

Someone already saw this, probably, but--during the title sequence of the show, messages flash. I'd use TiVo or something to see what they are, but...I don't have TiVo. Sad face sad face sad face

(someone's probably going to be tivoing it tuesday, anyway, so meh...)

 		about that image... well i looked up images of houdini online and it seems that the image was photoshoped,the hat wasn't originally there...

That's not Houdini with the "hilter-esque" moustache. That's Roland Garros and the date indicated by the file name is the date he first used a sync'ed machine gun to shoot through his propeller. He went on to become a French national hero and one of the first real fighter pilots.

The name of the other picture indicates the official years of WWI. Its a WWI propaganda poster.

What either of these pics has to do with anything is something we haven't been able to figure out for a week. We were hoping for some answers after the timer ran out, but it looks like we'll be waiting till at least the airing of Room 401 EST.

Edit : I see your trick Aiobhan. You're trying to get me to think I'm insane by quoting imaginary posts.
