I think if you pay attention to what hes saying, hes talking more about how he idolizes leader type. Like, perhaps thats why hes drawn to our "Main dude" Rob? Note: He dosen't only reference Cyclops, but Leonardo of turtles fame as well.

 		I think it's really important to remember that these characters have no idea about what is going to happen in Jan, so getting information about anything regarding that is probably going to prove impossible. This doesn't seem like it's going to be an ARG but rather just some sort of preface to the movie.

Maybe you're right, but I'm working under the occam's razor theory. Just a thought. Maybe he'll turn out to be some sort of leader during/after what I assume will be an attack?

hmm...Both teams of comic "superheros" were based in or around NYC.

Sad enough, even though I would probably connect with him the most (Comic nerd, tech geek, obsessive and jealous relationships with our T.V.s) I can't for the life of me think how to get him to divulge any info worth our efforts...

I sent her a message that the guy obsessed with Japan is Rob Hawkins and I gave her his myspace url.

Notice that the transfer is happening in January, when Rob is going to Japan in the trailer.
