Ok, again. I JUST GOT ONE TOO. That is TWO admins of UF that got random letters from Tom. We are not affiliated with this game, we are not "gamejacking" this game, we are just recipients of letters from some fellow named Tom.

Contained within the letters are the EXACT ITEMS SpaceBass has already posted. Nothing more. No directives.

Finally, this is not the first time people have sent letters/packages to SpaceBass to launch a game. This happens quite often.


Wait a minute? Did you get a copy of the letter, or a different, handwritten one?

what part of what I've already said is confusing?!

The envelope has the same markings, except it is addressed to me.

I have a handwritten letter that has the same text as the one previously seen on the one SpaceBass posted last night.

Within the envelope are barcode stickers, as those found in the one previously described by SpaceBass.

In essence, it is a duplicate of the one received by SpaceBass.

There is nothing else contained in the envelope but these items.

Now, will someone get me a beer?

Guys, come one, seriously...

1) This is not "a new way to start an ARG" at all, mailing stuff to members of the ARG community has been done for ages
2) Spacebass doesn't need to recieve a seperate OOG letter with instructions when someone mails him mysterious looking stuff... Rolling Eyes
3) Someone on this forum (Philoshipher) posted a link to the image of the letter on Despoiler.org, the wiki-site that, wait for it, is also owned by Spacebass and set up to post this kind of information to, he LINKS to it, he didn't 'steal' it.

As far as I'm concerned, this is not a gamejack, just someone linking to the letter, and it's certainly not a PM posting here... whoever are behind Tom Twoman specifically targeted Unfiction by sending at least two of its admins a letter, so we can asume that they damn well know they aren't allowed to post here themselves.

 		It seems to me that, what we were missing in that letter, is punctuation. Assuming he follows all the grammatical rules of the English language, we'd be missing a period, a colon, and an I.

i was responding to what people were saying about gamejacking. Giving two possibilities.

Seeing as though ive never been a PM myself, I do not know what could be contained inside a trailhead envelope.

It was just speculation for Phyzix who said that the pics in the link Philosopher sent and the ones SpaceBass sent had the same markings, inferring that SpaceBass = Philosopher. I had to clear that up and show that Philosopher obviously got the uploaded pics, from spacebass.

This got really confusing and seeing as though there were very little clues, people are reaching for straws left and right.

by no way did i mean offense to anyone by it. Im still wondering how someone can take offense to what i said in the first place..

1.) when i said "new" i meant new to me, something i hadnt seen before. as you can see ive only been at this for a limited time... so alot of stuff is new to me i guess. i should have been more clear about that, sorry.

2.) i was speaking hypotheticly to phyzix's comment about philosopher "stealing" the pics. I didnt mean it was definitely what happened, nor do i presume what SpaceBass needs/doesnt need when it comes to recieving letters/trailheads. All i was saying is if someone were to send out a trailhead by mail , perhaps it would include instructions or a reason for it. if not, sorry. Just speaking hypotheticly. Not claiming to know solid facts here..
