When you call the number under the bar code, take away the 0 you get an operator but it sounds weird. You hear background noise and the operator says
your number could not be completed as dialed please hang up and try again 066p.
Call the number and see if you can make anything out of it 272-469-7187.
I dialed 1 before the number for long distance.

I really dont think these match any of the known barcoding systems.
To me it most closely resembles UPC-A or Code 128 without the beginning guard bar.

What is missing from the barcode is what is known as the check digit,
http://www.tkb-4u.com/code/barcode/upc.php
The check digit of the UPC code
You never have to enter the check digit if you use ActiveBarcode - it is calculated and added automatically. But you can add it, if you want. To understand how the check digit is found here is an example for UPC A. It is also works for UPC E, which just has fewer digits:
UPC-number: 012300 70321
check digit: unknown at this time
Digits: 0 1 2 3 0 0 7 0 3 2 1
Multiply with: 3 1 3 1 3 1 3 1 3 1 3
Results: 0 1 6 3 0 0 21 0 9 2 3 Total = 45
Divide by 10: 45/10 = 4 remainder 5
To find check digit: 10 - remainder = check digit
check digit: 5
After doing the math and adding the numbers I came out to 113
113/10= 11 remainder 3
10 - 3 = 7
So in this case the check digit is 7 making the full barcode 207246 971877. for those of you looking for things with the number maybe that will help?
edited cause I messed up, feel free to double check the calculation.

These are all interesting finds and theories, and i ave yet to find anything!
Just kidding, but anyways. When i traced the starts in the barcode posted bfore, it looked a lot like a snake which would support the snake god thing said before.

I went here,
http://www.barcodesinc.com/generator/index.php and
typed both bar code variations, and guess what? The bar code lines didn't match the stickers. Wtf?

Hmmm....that is extremely odd. Perhaps these are barcodes are unique and (obviously) like no other. Maybe we need to find out the true purpose of these barcodes. Maybe they activate the next level of this ARG if we find out what to do with them. Like, they can only be used in one way, and the clues on what to do with them are in the letter.

Yes, they are our only real clue....
Something tells me that Van Mantra actually gave us some practical advice (no, this isn't connected to EHWR and I don't think it ever will be):
"Look to the stars for the answer."

Has anyone tried scanning the barcode into one of the Toys-R-Us price scanners?

I attempted to make out what the stars were by Google mapping the Lame Deer, Mt city. I saw some cities plotted in orange dots that kind of resembled the stars on the bar code but I could not make anything else out of it.

And the God of the North Star was a guide for travelers....
You may have something here, phyzix....

Maybe there are key cities we have to investigate into. Or maybe something they all have in common.

Or maybe they're nothing at all....
But it is something to look into.
Ya did good
EDIT: So far, assuming the map theory is true, I can see Billings, MT, Great Falls MT, Idaho Falls MT, and Casper Wyoming where the stars would be while Lame Deer is centered on the map.

I hate to think this, but maybe we are overthinking this.... It may be something as simple as stars & bars.

I was thinking we were, too. But stars and bars just screams the entire US, and that broadens everything. The map theory has at least four locations.
And of course, the answer could be in between these conflicting views....
