Perhaps this ARG has to do somewhat with the rebirth of the universe? It also links up with the bible, which says that, when the world ends it will be remade with perfect humans. We might be getting somewhere, or this is just a bunch of crap that is leading us no-where.


The images I posted are 1. the numbered barcodes, 2. the Mayan barcodes, and 3. the discrepancies between the two.

As far as being a "Rebirth" where the Mayan calendar is concerned? As far as I know, the "Popular" belief is that the Mayan calendar will end in 2012. I haven't found any connection between that and the letter but, I may have missed it!!!

 		It's also possible that we haven't received all of the introductory information yet. There may be more letters coming that haven't been delivered yet.

 		HOLY CRAP did you find somethings while I was away!

Could it be humanly possible that we shouldn't focus only on constellations? Which is the largest star on the grid? Being the North Star, it might be our starting point for any clue (judging the abilities of the Mayan North Star God)....

Well, in Mayan culture, it was believed that the universe would be reborn like, nin times.So that is stil within the realm of possibility...

Okay so I thought stars barcodes any connection do star catalogs exist? Yes they do.

Here's a link to a star catalog search at the Henry Draper online catalog, which is searchable by number.

I have no editing tools on my comp at the moment, so hopefully someone who does can try to overlay the star map with the stars you pulled from the barcodes.

Anyone with any idea if these might possibly be spectral star analysis instead of barcodes? That's a little too involved for the time I have today.

i said this once before so im sorry for the repitition.. in Dawn's third picture, there appears to be a smaller, round star that is bigger than the other "small" stars. It is the largest of the round, if you will..

This could be a planet.

One thing is certain in this picture. We do need a point of reference, as Chronus suggested. The North Star could be one... or possible this planet?

(if it even is one.. just really suspicious that one round dot is alot more prominent than the others..)

 		So, I was laying in bed thinking about how we're all focused solely on the bar codes. I got to thinking about the letter, and what was written there.

"The Sun God was here and we thought it might be time to begin again."

Begin what? Well, we've established this has something to do with the Mayans, right? And we established their Sun God is also the god of creation, right? So couldn't the letter be stating that the Sun God wants to recreate...well...everything? If that's what's meant, maybe what we're 'mssng' has something to do with that.

Then again, I've been awake for nearly 24 hours and might just be imagining things.

I didn't mean to throw you off, Smooth but, that was my bad. I missed reducing one of the small stars when doing the enhance. Sorry.

i saw you say something to that effect earlier but i wasnt sure if you were refering to that exact picture...

so I guess the North Star idea is the only point of reference so far... could there be any more?

Orions belt could be another...

I realized late last night that, I might have missed something by changing all the stars to the same color. As it turns out ALL the large stars that aren't duplicated are black. Black vs. White?

Isn't it odd that the second and third image in your comparison are essentially the same pattern? The third pic is an almost exact copy of the second one, only smaller. This makes the FIRST pic an overlay of an image on itself, except sized differently. Could this have some meaning when reverse-engineerd back to the barcode images?

(Could it be that this is what Phyzix meant by saying the smaller stars and larger stars make the same pattern (although both patterns are made up by smaller and larger stars)?)

OT: I can't help but seeing some kind of Egyptian-hieroglyph-style-cat-god-thingie in there... I must be crazy Cool

I saw that, too. That's clearly what we're mssng.
But it doesn't give us a good clue.... there's no FORWARD yet.

My original idea was that this was two constellations that looked almost the same just one was smaller than the other like the Big Dipper and the Small Dipper.
