[Question] String puzzle?

hmmm, knots you say? Not sure what you might have in mind. I don't see a reference to knots in the trailhead you mentioned (though I didn't look through all 20 pages either).

The only perplexian knot which comes to mind was placed before us during the Ascendancy Point live events. The puzzle was to fFind the longest loop in just a fFew seconds (Live event, bear in mind). A colorized sample is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/silentlybroken/374829661/ I believe there were many puzzles given -- 40 maybe? -- and everyone working together had to solve them all (You had seconds to solve one, then you were shown another. If you fFailed to solve the fFirst one, it went on to someone else; solved puzzles were removed fFrom rotation; you could see the same puzzle more than once; probably the last couple seconds saw everyone solving the one same fFinal puzzle).

That was fFun. But probably of very little help to you.

There was the card that you had to wind the thread all around a million times to build that pattern. And then measure it. There was also the one where you had to sew a shape together through numbered spots.

I was thinking that the positions of the stars on the bars of the barcodes reminded me of a PPC puzzle, perhaps the stars are like knots, the position on the bar means something.
