I don't know. I'm starting to agree with Smooth Wun about it being nothing more than a translator (code to letter).
(off, topic, I know, but are my IM links working?)

Holy macaroni.
The thick bar thin bar relationship is identical to morse code!
For example The letter a in morse code is dot slash (.-) and here is thin thick. same thing for every letter.

Now THAT is a clue. GOD this is odd....
EPIPHANY: What's missing in the letter? I's and Periods, or, rather dots and dashes, maybe?

Got that right.
Well, personally, i think we should rename this ARG.
I'm in favor of "The 2man Letters" or "Sun God Messages" or even "What You are Missing".

So i found a morse code translator that was posted on here earlier but it does not decode the whole thing you have to put spaces in between to get actual words.

Another epiphany. Couldn't the Mayan numerals be considered dots and dashes, as well?

The only actual word in English that could be made with the first set of barcode is the word RED.

If they were morse code they would spell this out:
I U I H A 4 U E V U
