Well, I stand corrected. I decompiled the swf and I believe what we've seen is all that's there. There aren't any other glyphs to substitute in the date spot. So maybe today was the official starting date?

Heres some interesting connections.
Quote:
In June 1865 Red Cloud's Sioux joined a coalition led by Woqini (Roman Nose) of the Cheyenne, to attack a military post on the North Platte River. Believing they had taught the bluecoats to respect the treaty, they returned home only to learn in August of further encroachments.
Lame Deer is mostly poplulated by Cherokee. North Platte is where the letter was REALLY mailed from.

Native Americans didn't only live in the territories that now make up the U.S. Native people from all over North America are considered, by some, Native Americans.

This is extremely interesting....bu what are we lookin at here? a map and some weird pictograms...what's it mean? And even worse, is it related? I mean, for all we know we could be lookin at another ARG here....
It cannot be another ARG because the barcodes we have are the password to get into this website.
Umm, explain to me for a moment why that rules it out as an ARG?
Also, nice reverse background research there on the whole Red Cloud / Lame Deer / North Platte thing folks!

Phyzix is saying that it's not a different ARG from the one we're doing.

Aha. I didn't get that. Because I hadn't really thought there was ever any doubt...
I suddenly get that whole discussion now though

Mayan Characters I've been looking into the characters on the page that first opens and it looks like they are used to distinguish dates on the mayan calendar but, I haven't been able to figure out how to put them together with the numbers in order to figure out the date. Anyone else looking into this?
