Since I didn't find anything, I thought I should post, just in case.

It may be some completely unrelated fiction (It goes back to January of '06) but the first post about the stars kinda got me wondering.

Guess I better do the responsible thing and read up on this one.


EDIT: For those who are catching up or reading this thread from the start, I'd like to point out that as of this post on page 33 of this thread, it has been found that this site is not related to the Tom Tooman game. --Giskard

That's a date converter, Mayan is down a bit on the left.

Also Yaxk'in means "first sun" or "new sun" and Kib' (or Cib) is vulture/shell

Bah, I've searched around but can't find the same page I found the second set of glyphs on. You can see the first ones on the wiki page.

Hmm... has anyone noticed that the lower right hand corner of the map is kind of shifted up from the rest of the pic?

clouds on map
The smudges that look like clouds appear to coincide with major cities: Chicago, Minneapolis, Kansas City (and maybe Topeka, there appear to be two smudges there), Denver, Indianapolis. No Idea what kind of significance that might have.

 		Concentrated superstorms maybe? Some indication of badness either way, would be my guess.
