My girl would kill me
If Lily and Hawk mean so much to each other, why are they second to last on each others respective top friends? Sloppy page setup? Lazy forgetful intern?

If you never choose 8 friends to be in your Top 8 it chooses them randomly. It seems as if paramount (or whoever is organizing the pages) would want to set these up, but maybe they just want viewers to assume that the crew equally mean a lot to each other and/or the relationships within the story hold important plot elements.

The IMDB cast list is very inaccurate - they do list Odette, they just misspelled her name as Odet Jasmin. Also, Michael Stahl-David, is playing Rob, not Mike Vogel. Vogel is JJ Hawkins. Lizzy Caplan is playing LenaDia. As far as I'm aware we do not yet know the identities of the other actors.

The Wikipedia Cloverfield entry has a far more accurate cast list IMHO.

Yeah, but they had time to change this before opening the pages to OOG friends requests, and everyones friends are different. Ok, maybe Hawk. being a dude, and one who seems non too committal, would leave his "buds" first, especially with his lack of effort in his page, But Lily has gone as far as to talk briefly about marriage on her page. Seems she would put himfirst, in character.

I think the friends are orderd by the date they were added.

Look, all I'm saying is the PM's went to great lengths to make these characters "Real" and this seems like a terrible flaw, a clue to something more (Not likely), or more insight into these characters. Maybe alls not so well in paradise? Maybe Lily, with her very serious, intellectual mindset and aspirations, is tired of Jason and his slacker ways? (Or getting there) Do we ever see them together in the Trailer?

Yep, several times. One of the first main ones looks at normal speed like she and J are dancing or he does the twirl thing with her under the arm, but then if you slow it down and frame it across, it looks like he's moving by her, raises his arm up to not bump her and she turns toward him. They're also seen together on the roof - you can see it better in slo mo but he's walking up to the group of people where the one guy was saying it was like tremors, and she's coming behind - to the side of him. Granted, it is more blurry than clear but if you slo mo it and edge it yourself you can get a couple decent frames enough to recognize the slusho tshirt and her heart necklace...and that her dress is purple, not black - least in the light it's purple. You can see the heart necklace better in the earlier shot she's dancing?turning toward JJ, and then again outside on the street.

When they run in, she heads in first while he goes briefly out of the picture but he returns a moment later and goes through the door. They're followed by Rob and camera guy in that order. She's already out the door where Rob catches up to her.

Then there is the part both of them are asking where's Jason, anybody seen Jason. She's not quite as audible as Rob but if ya listen close you can hear her asking, and sort of mid question Rob's voice overlaps hers more audibly.

EDIT: FTR I did watch again and wanted to correct one thing and add one more: correction: it doesn't appear that it's Rob asking....so it could be cameraguy or the white circle shirt guy - provided the voices weren't dubbed in later. Addition: Lil can also be seen standing by Jason when he's asking if they can see anything from the roof. As he turns, you get a brief partial shot of the back left part of her and the dress/hair is the same so that's her.

So yeah, they're pretty much together through the trailer.

Hud is played by TJ Miller, a comedian.

Also, just to add, Lena has changed her default pic, I guess the blonde do was confusing people? She has a darker haired pic up. And her music has changed to "The People" by Common.

so two things... they choose wat comments are posted on their pages incase someone decides to be like "ahhh run away from nyc ur gonna die in like 5 months!!" and they keep whatever comments they're ok with ppl seeing on their pages... and is it just me or are none of their pictures commented by us? im sure ppl have tried to comment their pics but not one comment is ok enough to be posted... just trying to clear this question up...

EDIT: Hawk's main pic has a comment by someone... so nevermind i guess...
