haha that would be pretty sweet but right off the bat it sounds pretty hard. i just remembered last night everyone had those yellow tags turned around so you couldn't see, but on a catering van there was a sign that said "must present cheese badge" so i guess they say cheese on them, also it seemed like they were rigging a horse and buggy with something on the back axle then again they could just be fixing something.

rob sort of had a camera there was a camera man all hunched down to the ground with a small camera in something like a black garbage bag, i'm guessing as protection against dust and debris, and rob had his arm reaching out to the camera to make it look like he was holding it, other then that i saw 2 professional cameras one on a guys shoulder inside the over pass and one on sticks outside

As far as Rob being in a different shirt, it's very possible he was wearing that t-shirt UNDER his dress shirt, and either his dress shirt got ripped and pulled off, or he took it off.
He probably didn't change, and it's not necessarily a different day.

Okay, so I've looked as closely at the set videos as I can, and I'm not clear that the speculation of this being the 'death' of Rob and the other girl is accurate.

So I'm asking nooneimportant and anyone else for clarification. WHAT, exactly, makes you think this is their death scene? Is is just because of the black tarp covering the shooting camera's view for a moment?

Because I can envision several possibilities for that, not the least of which is a 'cut to black' being done mechanically to allow for the 'sporadic' nature of a camcorder cutting in and out (along the lines of the flight down from the roof in the trailer).

Was there something more specific than that suggesting this is a 'death scene'?

the only reason i suspected this was the end for our 2 friends is because there was utter panic lots of screaming and he kept telling her to look at him almost like saying "its going to be ok" sort of thing. also there was LOTS of stuff being dumped onto them and the big black tarp to simulate even more debris, i'm going to guess the bridge colapses over them due to the/a monster.
also they did not film anything after that, it was just them getting covered and then lots of dust and the tarp, at first i was picturing the monster would pass by or something and you'd get the shot of rob saying something like
"its gone" or "its over now" but they just called cut and when the tarp came back down the two friends were just standing there dusting off.

however that is all the evidence i have. i could easily be very very wrong

The Tarp could have been used to be a shadow effect as if the monster moved in front of a Light Source

i did think about that too, but i also figured that if the monster was above them and caused that rubble to fall on their heads then there would probably be alot more rubble then they actually dumped also there must have been much more rubble then was shown because of the amount of dust that was blown in as the tarp was being pulled up
