Got the answer.
Hint: I would absolutely guarantee that Belaso is not her last name.

the case of the covet bottle hmm..... I am completely lost,
so far I have sent Danielle and email, but I was confused by the fact that her last name is a jumble of myspace...
I translated vouloir unhomme which means to want a man,
but then I found the police officer ladys myspace and it says a different surname and she says she is an art collector not police officer..
HELP.
can anyone please give me some clues because I am soooo confused?

I guess it's alright to give the answer, since only the first person and then a random drawing from anyone who completed the puzzle get a prize.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you search through her profile, you should notice that her name isn't the only place with Belaso in it. Under her heroes is the name Giovan Batista Belaso. A quick internet search will show that he was the original creator of what is now called the Vigenere cypher.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Use the Vigenere cypher method to decode the string of "Hungarian" from Morgaine's blog with the password written on her report.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Remember that to do a reverse translation you must first look up the password's letter on the right column and then find the encrypted letter in its row. From there travel up the column to find the decrypted letter at the top.

Good work, degravedi! But we still can't see what's actually IN the evidence room, because when you click on it you just get that stupid story. I guess I'll see you all in a week, barring any updated blog posts from the publicist broad...

Thank you ^^ And yeah, it would have been nifty if you could put in the password and search around the evidence locker.

Yes we do, Every Tuesday will be a new Challange.
I think it was more the fact of cracking the code to give to Melisande to get in the Evidence Room, Not us.

Yes, but why should Melisande have all the fun? She's just a publicist, not a seasoned investigator/code cracker like we are...

Maybe cracking the code was not enough proof that we are here to help SJP? I'm sure the next challenge will have something to do with whatever she finds out in the Evidence Room.
Edit: I was looking over Captaine's Myspace page again. She does hint to the fact she is working on a case in one of her earlier blogs, but what I found interesting is, how much she hates her Real Job. Art collecting is just her Hobby and how she makes most of her money from what I gather. This to me sounds like she would be the Prime suspect. Collecting Art... A one of a kind, Special Edition Bottle of Purfume missing... Passcode Changed... and how she complains how her "Real Job" is not rewarding Finacially.

Good Job Good job everyone - I definitely would not have been able to get that. I just finished a game (Bourne) that was obvious and straightforward, and this looks a little more challenging.

I was noticing that myself. Methinks it's a little too obvious, but who knows? Anyone who played the LOST ARG last summer is used to both "painfully obvious" and "so obscure as to be unsolvable without direct help" ...
So who do we think this Cornelia broad is?

Re: More myspace
Palm thanks for these links because, for some bizarre reason if I use the link to join the search from there I can get to see the newspaper and sign up but if I go via the main page still nothing.
