Somewhere in the "how to play" section it says that some "Creative Searching" of social websites (ie, Flickr and Myspace) are going to be required to solve the case.

We are allowed to ask the characters questions on their blogs and myspace pages.

The Szaglas lady has a myspace group...which may also prove to be helpful (or misleading)...

This is all my presumption and jumping to conclusions, I haven't found anything else, yet. But I'm sure the super sleuthers on here would definitely find WAY more than I am able...

Maybe the clues will be really obvious in the Melisande blogs?

Ok, so after reading M. Szaglas blog I think she is Hungarian that Morgaine Belaso was refering to in her blog. Just a thought. Plus she is a perfume designer. I really don't want to wait until next tuesday for the next clue!

 		M. Szaglas put a photo up on her blog within the last couple of hours. I checked her photos earlier today and it was just her profile pic.. now there's a pic of flowers...
could be nothing, but could be setting up for next tuesday...

While looking over the profile for ersebet, I can't help but notice in her about me section she states she is also Hungarian and a painter. She also makes mention of Magyar. However what I did find to be a little more interesting was that in her interests, she mentions fragrance.

Right before my eyes, they took off her photo and put on the photo of the flowers for her profile.

Szaglas has a group that she moderates that just started on August 1, 2007.

OK, after reading the "Power Scents" group moderated by M. Szaglas, http://groups.myspace.com/PowerScents I notice "The Power of Hungary Water" surrounds us.

A simple google search reveals that "Hungary Water" is a perfume recipie from years ago and my early theory is that the case has something to do with the recipe of the perfume, or the letters of gold as described :

"Original Receipt for Hungary Water.
The original receipt for preparing this invaluable lotion is written in letters of gold in the hand-writing of Elizabeth, queen of Hungary."

If the myspace M. Szaglas is in game, then for sure Elizabeth of Hungary, and the power of the water is part of it.

 		Let's try to capture some of the thought processes here - I assume that ersebet was found because Morgaine Belaso, known to be in-game, has friended her. And we get to szaglas because ersebet, now also presumably a game character due to the direct Belaso link, has friended her. (Nothing confirmed yet, but seems logical.)

I take it nobody has found anyone else that our 3 probable in-game characters have friended?

 		If you look at the profiles on the website, there is a shadow of a group of people. In the blog posted by our beloved police chief, she says she was finishing up with "a bizarre little group of people" maybe they have something to do with the case??

Actually, I think those shadows are people we have yet to meet in game. SJP's lawyer, or the Hungarian chick, or if we question the arresting officer- stuff like that. Or, perhaps, you're right. I hate speculation, and I hate time-scheduled info releases... Smile
