What was happening in your professional, social, and love life, in the months prior to your kidnapping, (no matter how seemingly trivial it may be)?

maybe it will be viewed as multiple questions.. but i was iffy about just putting "life" because it really doesnt let him know what we are looking for specifically...

another idea..

could you describe in detail, any events and interactions that occurred in the months before the kidnapping?

im not sure if i like this one, but its hard to reword the original question..

Well, it doesn't mean that is what he prefers, Wabs. Razz He has some cans there, too, & the boxes look like Fancy Feast (which, if you want to be finicky Shocked , is Friskies)...
inquiring minds want to know...

I do believe we can preface our questions to give Eric an idea of what we do know which might help him in answering us.

Like ....

Mr. Deercot has showed us some video of you, in your apartment. We believe you are being held because of your relationship with Sue Hart. What was your relationship with her.(something more open ended)

Or

Your family said that you had not been in contact with them for the last few months. Which of your co workers or friends should we contact to find out more about what you have been doing the past few months.

They dont have to be this exactly but you get the idea. Give Eric some information so that he has an idea of what we know and what we have been doing.

This style would be work better if it were done on video so that hopefully the CM dosent cut out what ever we use as a preface to the question.

I like this idea. A carefully-worded preface to our questions... This might also remove the need to add in multiple details in the actual q?, making it for sure just one question.

The CM wass specific when he said ask three questions. I really do not think we can chance writing these "prefaces" and then have the CM remove them and then Eric will have no idea what the hell the questions mean...

who cares if the question is run-on... or too long, or too wordy.. it still is readable and understandable. Thats all we need for it to be. The one thing the CM wasnt specific on, was how the questions are wordy, too long of questions, or open ended questions..

I, for one, think IF we use the prefaces, we should somehow add them into the question.

One long question... I dont think it matters how gramatically correct we are... run-ons would only help im guessing..

We're not saying they're grammatically incorrect or too long...just that some of the q's are asking more than 1 question...which would require Eric to give more than 1 answer...which would mean that the "1" question would be counted as more than one.

If CM truncates it to just the q, that's OK. We can still have it make sense: "Eric, your father has said that he was only in sporadic contact with you in the months before you were taken, & he does not have any information about your relationships & employment in the recent past. What are the honest, specific details regarding what was going on in your life in the few months before your kidnapping?"

EDIT: Or: "What are the honest specifics regarding the details of your life in the few months before your kidnapping?" Something like that? Confused
Or: "What are the honest specifics regarding your activities in the few months before your kidnapping?" ...this could mean work, relationships, adultery, murder, Disneyland trips, cat fondling...
Just getting my ideas down...
CM could take a nap while he answers us.

Yeah, I think somethin like this would work:

"What are the specific details regarding your life and what was going on with you in the few months before you were kidnapped?"

so right now we have...

"What is everything you know about Sue?" ("what is" is better than "can you tell us" because he could answer "can" by saying "yes I can" and thats it..)

and..

"What are the specific details regarding your life and what was going on with you in the few months before you were kidnapped?"

do these sound good guys?

And I agree.. we need a page with a poll that only the UF people can go to, so we can have our own vote to show we are all on the same page... then we can vote on youtube in unisen... or even maybe link the CM to our own vote page? (if its not an OOG site, such as UF...)

I have 7 responses for my surveymonkey poll at the moment. If someone wants to make a poll through uf go ahead, but I don't think you can pick multiple answers, and it's a pain to put the choices in one at a time.

Edit: Thanks for the PM Rabid. I added your question, but it seems like most of the people have voted already. But the good news is so far the highest vote getter is pretty much the same question you sent me, just worded differently (Where were you working and what were you doing in the months before you were kidnapped?). Since there is some concern that the CM won't allow multiple part ?'s, we can wait until more people vote, then just re-word the winning questions, if that's cool with everyone.
