Poor Brent. He only has one MySpace friend, and it's that Tom dude that's everyone's friend. Won't you be Brent's friend, too?

His aunt recently died, and bequeathed him a strange letter.

Do you know what it says?

Help!

Sorry.
I got the treasure part from his "The letter" post where there was a string of characters:
RmluZHRoZWFtYnJvaXNldHJlYXN1cmUsIHNhdmUgdGhlIGJsb29kbGluZSBmcm9tIGV4dGluY3Rpb24=
Which is:

Findtheambroisetreasure, save the bloodline from extinction

in base 64

The text from the letter, in case anyone doesn't want to squint to read it:

Quote:
Brendon -

If you're getting this letter, it means I have passed away. As the last known male in the Ambroise line, I'm sorry to tell you that a heavy burden is now on your shoulders. Your grandfather, my brother, wanted nothing to do with it, and entrusted the information to me. But now it is your job to solve the mystery of our bloodline. The matriarch of the Ambroise line died under mysterious circumstances, but not before she yielded a son, who began our line. Before her death, she hid something of great worth in the Old Country, and left puzzles for her son to figure out. Sadly, he never did, and much of the clues have been lost to time. The members of this family have been working on solving the puzzle for almost 50 years - an now, you are the last hope. You must find the item our Matriarch left behind. There is a message that has been encoded so that it is unreadable to the casual observer, but it is all the information I have. You can solve it, Brendon, you already have the key.

-Aunt Sophie

PS - Her name was Bergie (?). She was 23 when she died. Good luck, beloved.

And is that a symbol attached to the key?

I have been looking at the symbol on the key ring...haven't quite worked it out yet unless AA tokens count.
