Why would National Lampoon be listed as their NY Production Office? Did they hand out fake call sheets to New York Magazine?

Maybe they don't want to give away the real address? Perhaps NY magazine edited it?
Does it really matter?

I hope national lampoon is prepared for the deluge of calls they are going to get from this.

Not that I recommend calling them or suggest that they have even a hint of information about this. They were probably just trying to be...funny. As that is what they do. Smile

From nationallampoonnetworks.com:

Maybe they're just there for consulting to market to young folks, or maybe Bad Robot just needed a point of contact in NY in order to film there. Either way, I wouldn't look to far into it.

ROFL I don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place. Maybe that's our hint to take the call sheet as a joke?

Or maybe the monster is a 400 ft drunken John Belushi zombie who was just trying to crash Rob's going away party in hopes of scoring some mondo dope and a little college tail!!!

So what is the Vulture? Is it just a blog that's loosely affiliated with New York Magazine? How reliable is it?

I thought it was interesting it says Hud costume for: Matt/Mike/Chris

Hud? I thought that was one of the people... or heads up display or what... (voltron?)... jk

I think they are reliable. Although, I disagree with the categorization of us as "nerds on the internet." Guys, you need to meet us. And, perhaps, soon you will. Wink

They do link to unfiction in a previous article.

I'm sure they already got their calls... we already talked about this a week or so ago when the first "Cheese" photo was posted with their number on it.

Transcribing the call sheet by scene:

Quote:
Based on Cast#'s and who is in-scene, Rob is #1, Beth is #2, Hud is #3 and Lily is #5 as specified in the cast section.

Scene 128 - Rob, Hud & Lily emerge from a dust cloud riding a horse-drawn carriage, in front of Beth's apartment building.

Scene 129 - Rob, Hud & Lily are outside Beth's apartment building (most likely Trump Tower) and it's beat up pretty badly.(Hurray!)

Scene 130 - Rob, Hud & Lily look up at Beth's apartment and enter the lobby. This takes place at a different location than the alternate.
Scene 130 Alternate - Rob, Hud & Lily - Hud figures out how to get into Beth's apartment building.

*Some interesting and revealing dialogue happens. Beth now joins your party. And it's a good thing too, because she has healing magic.*

Now on Park Avenue:
Scene 143 - Rob, Beth, Hud & Lily are running through the streets, while sounds are building up around them.

Scene 144 - Rob, Beth, Hud & Lily are still running in the streets. Hud checks out the fight (between the monster and...another monster? The military? Two hobos over a square of cheese?) before hauling ass to catch up to the others.

Scene 145 - Rob, Beth, Hud & Lily run across the street as a fighter plane flies by. Rob points out which way to go.

Scene 146 - Rob, Beth, Hud & Lily are running up to the "Loading Zone" (Probably a military secured position used to load and unload army vehicles, helipad, whatever)

*Some interesting and revealing dialogue happens, Hud gets abducted by aliens, Lily falls off the edge of the earth*

Now in Central Park:
Scene 156 - At dawn now, Rob & Beth take refuge under a bridge.

Scene 157 - Rob & Beth under a bridge, Rob tries to record something but can't.

Scene 158 - Beth probably holds the camera at this point, Rob tells the camera some interesting and revealing dialogue. (Perhaps knowing he could likely die and this would be their only record of the events they experienced overnight.)

Scene 159 - Rob & beth still under a bridge, Beth tells the camera that they're going to try and wait it out. They hear (a thunderous, roaring?) sound.

Scene 160 - Rob & Beth ignore the chaos & focus on each other. (DAMN!)
[Two large chunks of rubble fall on top of Rob's head, per nooneimportant's third video]

Scene 160 Alternate - Rob & Beth ignore the chaos & focus on each other. (DAMN!!!)
[Significantly more rubble falls on top of Rob's head, per nooneimportant's fourth video]

And then Morning, either before or after the events - it's not clearly specified and could be either.

Scene 1 - Trump Tower, Apartment 26D - Rob is alone in Beth's apartment. The camera looks out of a window overlooking Manhattan and we see Rob's reflection. Rob then moves a picture.

Scene 2 - Rob moves through Beth's apartment, filming as he does.

Makes more sense in chronological order, right?
Another thought just occured - I'm used to movies having at least double the number of scenes as the highest number listed on the call sheet. It's either a really short movie (maybe 90 minutes) or the ending isn't listed here.

the only thing on that call sheet was what they were filming on location for those few days, probably because they use a slightly different crew in NY and LA

When it says HUD stops to watch the fight it is probably between the military and the Monster
