OK, I can accept that - where I see us (well, me at least!) as being stuck, is in what to do with Bindu's travelogue. To recap, if you check them all out some have numbers, two have a letter, and six have neither a letter nor a number.

Sixteen numbers and two letters (N and E) really screams out that we have two eight-digit co-ordinates to discover.

Putting these in order of latitude, from N to S

Gives us what I posted earlier - I'm really drawn to this answer, as we get eight numbers, the N, eight numbers, the E, which is spot-on for co-ordinate purposes.

But, there's nothing tangible there on Google Earth.

Maybe I messed up the latitude on one or more locations? Maybe the entries with no number or letter provide an ordering clue in another way. That's what I'm looking at now.

Well, as people can add text and photo tags to various co-ords in Google Earth, my feeling is that we should decrypt the numbers we have to get a valid set of co-ords, and if we get it right it would be obvious as it would lead to a user tag from Bindu for her bro....

It's how to get that two sets of co-ords from our sixteen numbers that's driving me nuts!
