Archelon Code

Archelon Code

My friend stumbled on this a few hours ago.
I used the fancy UF Search tool, and with no results found, I decided to post this for you to waste your time on.

I haven't solved it myself, and could probably use some help.

Definitely harder than it looks at first.
I like the concept. This would be a fun one to do as a group.
I've only got the first two+one in the upper left, so far, for sure.

It's frustrating not knowing which of your two responses is wrong or both/

Hint for the top of column 2: (Let's call it field #5)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Factor in a rearrangement of the characters before you go looking

Is #3 more graphical (a synonym for drool) or technical ([Th]orn + Macron, for example)?

I wandered off ... Here are some hints:

#1
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"read between the lines" and the double-spaced text tells you there is hidden text -- highlight by selecting the text on the page

#2
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I used this 1337-speak translater -- remember that it's phonetic too

#3
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Put the binary into this conversion utility and see if one of the formats is readable

#4
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
if your browser loaded the page slowly enough, you might have noticed that the bottom text is really a set of images -- view their properties or select part of the page and view the html source for a clue

I'm calling the 2nd column numbers 5,6,7 (because part of the middle one is called c6)

#5
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The clue says 329 is not prime -- if you're slow with factorization, try this tool to divide up that long string, then step back -- aditional hint: monospaced font.

#6
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
(I never did get a clean audio -- scroll down for someone else posting the answer.)

#7
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
(I have a dictionary for looking up these characters -- the answer is simply a translation, although you might need synonyms to find the exact English word.)

Neither catherwood or myself have any decent audio editing tools, so if anyone can reverse, slow down and filter the audio file, we may be able to proceed.

I think it says "The key is xxxx" where "xxxx" is some form of physical/mental disability.

A friend who speaks chinese told me the character on #7 means
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
eternal or forever
I'm confident in that translation since it's part of his name.

But, I'm really stumped on #5 (even with Catherwood's hint), and I'm groping for #6.
With my limited audio skills, to me 6 sounds something like
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
upstairs or upstore

Edited to Add: Thanks Rogi

For #5, try putting the text into an un-maximized notepad window and switch to a monospaced font.

ETA: Posting the best audio file I can for #6.
After listening to it for a bazillion times, I think I'm hearing:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"The key is octal".

Any other opinions?

Possibly:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The key is octave?

The noisy echo at the end really blurs it. Sorry not more help.

I got c6, I was looking to see if I could find some clearer audio on any other forums, (I didn't BTW) and instead I found a very good hint on GamersHood
The hint was

Man, it's really hard to hear, isn't it? You might say the words are very.... what's that word? Unclear? No, that's not it... Ambiguous? Nope, not the word I'm looking for... What is that word?

The solve is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
obscure

c8 is easy peasy, and I'm not sure where to go yet on c9 .

Edit: I got 9

Hint:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I got it by looking for the standard format of "the key is . . .", basically look for what is not there.

Solve:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"paranoid", I don't think the 'd' is right, but I got it from the rest of the letters.

paranoid
is right for clue 9, and the mis-spelt
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
halucinate
is the final answer ...

My hint for #9 might be
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Fill in the missing lines, then remove what was given.

Regarding that final position on #9:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The "D" is correct. The "O" is solid all around, but in the last slot there is a small corner given (probably cheating, because it's not part of the LED crystal units)

As for #10, how the he77 is that a puzzle? And how did anyone solve it?
