[SPEC] Monster name: What do you think?

Well, what I currently believe is that Rob knows a bit more than anyone else. Watch the trailer and keep an eye on Rob as soon as the lights go out and everyone hears the roar. He seems to have a worried/"oh my god" look on his face, while everyone else is confused/curious. Then, once they get on the roof, when he's asked "Maybe you should have left town earlier," he doesn't look amused.

I have a feeling Rob will most likely know what it is. The current theory I've heard is that he's actually going to Japan to work for Slusho, so he'd know if anything "fishy" (HAHA PUN THAT WAS BRILLIANT) was going on.

I doubt it'll get a name. I think the movie will be moving at a fairly frentic pace, with little stops for exposition. While we may get something a little ham-handed like a quick expository stop in front of a broadcasting TV, it's going to be more "RUN!" and less "Look out! It's what we shall refer to as Gorgonzola!"

Interesting discussion topic....but your tag is very unclear about what you put into the body of your message.

Please relabel the Subject of the first post. May I suggest: "What do you think the monster looks like?" And you might get more dialogue (although I think there might already be this same topic in an established thread - the veterans for this forum will have that information.

I betcha it gets it's name when Rob makes an aside to the audience and says "what's the name of this movie?" and everyone in the audience says the name, then he says "OH, they did eventually name the movie after the monster...RUN!!!!" and he takes off running so we actually will be the ones naming it and that's the point of the ARG.

That's exactly how it will happen, and you know it!
(hopefully the run-on sentence was a hint of the sarcasm)
