The words in between the sentences are actually Latin words, translated roughly, it seems that the sentences are crudely describing the words, translations:


Ego = I

Plumbum = LEAD

Humanus = HUMANS

Verses = TOWARDS

Fatum = Doom

Of (No translation needed)

Meus =My

Sumo =OWN

But if some words are applied to the other sentence, it also makes sense, etc: Ego = I

Great Things come to those who wait.

But doesn't make total sense when applied to the sentence below it. -Samamanjaro

 		hard to tell... but with no reference to where it was found, my guess is OOG, user prank... if it gets editted out soon, we'll know

And not a very good one at that. If you look at the history, the guy edited that post about 5 or 6 times just to make sure everything was right. He redid minor things. Somehow I don't think that would be necessary if you're just copy/pasting official text from somewhere.

 		New info posted and I think I got it, its related to Marathon, th relay is the ssame from marathon.

If you look at the first letter of the non-Latin phrases and combine them, it spells out GRAVEMIND leading us to believe this is a message from Gravemind. When this is put in context with the latin phrases, it seems as though Gravemind intends to end humanity when he is destroyed. -Onyx Flame

 		That's definitely OOG. For one thing, it looks as if the creator merely cracked open a Latin dictionary in order to do a direct transliteration.

I note this because if one is going to say "I lead" in Latin, the word 'ego' is never used. Rather, the first person singular present tense indicative active verb ending would be used to denote the 'I'. Not to mention the fact all of the non-verbs were horribly (or not at all) declined.
