I'm pretty sure the scenes they filmed were real since it was kept so quiet, but I would laugh so hard if all that stuff that happened in New York was just complete BS to throw us off.

That'd be a pretty insane amount of money from an admittedly small budget to throw away on deception. I'd be more inclined to suggest if it was faked it was usable footage if not actually necessary, and if it were faked it was a serious chunk of promotional budget used in hopes it'd reach people with those 'spy' pics and videos.
Overall, I'd call that unlikely.
JJ Abrams is more likely to try to throw us off with his statements. You can imagine he knew of future shoots and wanted to discourage people trying to scout them by saying the live stuff was 'in the can' and all that was left was CGI.

I think I understand your question. I think you are asking if the producers are blaming us for not making more progress. And if that is correct, maybe they are doing or not doing things because of our failure to progress.

No, I don't think they blame us. I think they are happy we are so engrossed in the tiniest detail of the trailer, slusho site, the myspace pages and the pictures. I think that if there was more for us to do at this point, we would have gotten some more updates. Even in the doubtful event that we have missed something, they would give us updates to help steer us on the right track.

I think perhaps you were asking if they were filming scenes to mislead us. I think that given the expense of filming, this is extremely unlikely.
