Another Glyph Spotted in Halo 2

Started a new campaign on Halo2 and I was watching the opening sequence.

At one point the Arbiter gets branded. Well the end of the stick looks like the glyph.

I found a video that shows it.

Pause it at 1:07 and tell me if that looks like the symbol at the end of the branding stick.

So maybe the symbol means death or the end or something.
