Has Christopher's silence the past few days been a coincidence or do you guys think there's something game-related we ought to be doing? I must admit, patience has never been one of my virtues...

He is traveling from Taipei in Taiwan to Xian City in China. He then has to make his way northwest to Qian Tomb in order to make contact with Lien. Because of the diplomatic issues between China and Taiwan he may not be able to fly direct.

wasn't there also 5 days between puzzle 1 and 2?

I would expect a new one Friday or Monday.

the Christopherforrest.com site states:

Code:
THE GENESIS CODE ARG will also utilize elements and clues hidden in the novel to assist in online game play.

They can't go as fast as we solve them as some of the puzzles will need to be solved after the Aug 21 release date.

I mentioned it before... that I have read one of the Advanced Reading Copies of the book... you know, the ones they send out to book reviewers and such. And I'll just say this...:

Unless there was a MAJOR edit with additional Material added to the book since the ARCs were printed.. Any guess is just as good as another.

None of this is in it.. that is to say.. Taipei 101, Taiwan.. Lien Mehui, China.. Puzzle #1 and Puzzle #2.. None of it is in the book.

So... yay, Have a nice day.

Well here you go.......

new message posted about 1/2 hour ago.

Quote:
After a little help deciphering the message from Lian Meihui, I made my way to a town near Xian City on thw way to Qian Tomb. Its an unsettling place. Westerners are not particularly welcome here, and I really have to watch my back. I definitely don't want to get caught in any dark alleys alone. I managed to find a local who speaks a little English and agreed to help me find a room to stay. Its not exactly the Hyatt, but at least I'm not sleeping outside in an empty field. There's a small bed and some threadbare sheets, a water pitcher and basin for washing, and a common toilet down the hall. The town has one internet cafe, with a spotty connection. I've gotten dropped once already since I logged on fifteen minutes ago.

With the condition of the local roads here, I think it will take me about three hours to make my way to Qian Tomb. A lot more if I have to hike the full distance. I'm planning on setting out tomorrow if the weather holds. With some luck, I can make it there and back in one day. If not, it may be a couple of days before I can make it back..

I did some reading, and I found one very interesting reference. There is a legend that the ancient imperial Chinese library contained 4320 volumes. I know that number is important, I just can't remember why. 4320, 43200 and 432000. All derivations of the same 4320 root number. I just can't recall what the connection is.

I also read that the Hung Society has branches all around the Far East called Triads. It can't be a coincidence that the company Dr. Ambergris co-founded was called Triad Genomics. I need to study up some more about the Hung Society and their ancient teachings.

I think I'll try to get some sleep soon. No screens on the windows, so I'm dinner for the local insect population. I'd give my right arm for a can of bug spray right about now. And if I have to eat one more bowl of rice, I may go insane. I hope Lian Meihui is worth all this effort.

The Great Pyramid seems to be very prevalent with the 432000 reference.

"Some believe these numbers were placed in the Bible to transmit messages across time itself. Carl Munck has shown that these numbers were part of a very ancient system for positioning ancient sites around the world. "

Bible reference to 432 in: Luke 8:15, Revelation 2:17

Given the updated link on the Triad Genomics site (The ISBN, now reads "432000") We have a direction.
This version of the 432 mythos deals with the shifting of the earth on its axis (precession) and our moving into the age of Aquarius.
So I think we can forget all the pyramid, ratios, bible code and other stuff associated with 432x10 n .

How did you arrive at the conclusion that we can dismiss the "other stuff"?

432000

The date of Dr. Ambergris' quote on the Triad Genomics site is also 4/3/2000...

And Triad's headquarters are at 4320 Millennium Place, and Omar Crowe is employee #4320... The number's everywhere when you start looking for it!

432000
History in Ginans

It took the amoeba 432,000 years to evolve into a fish.
It took the fish 432,000 years to evolve into a tortoise.
It took the tortoise 432,000 years to evolve to a mammal like water hog.
It took the water hog 432,000 years to evolve to a higher form of mammal like a lion.
It took the lion 432,000 years to evolve to an ape such as a chimpanzee or sometimes known as the missing link.
It took that ape 432,000 years to evolve to the first man with intelligence. He was actually the ADAM known as ABUL BASHR.

The quote is Albert Einstein's: http://www.quotationspage.com/quote/9316.html

Quote:
"The important thing is not
to stop questioning. One
cannot help but be in awe when
he contemplates the mysteries
of eternity, of life, of the
marvelous structure of reality."

Maybe it's just the timing of my comment, here about how much 432 stuff is out there being so closely followed by the updated link.
Maybe it's just my need to settle on one of the dozens of disconnected theories around it.
But, I took the removal of the ISBN as a sign that they are coming to understand the need to separate IG and OOG assets/ideas. Connecting the new text with the audio it links to seems to nail it down to at least a reasonable subset of the 432 mythos. Just my opinion. YMMV.
