Not sure what it is, sounds like my cubicle mate's Outlook mail "ding", but I definitely heard something too.

Download the file i attached on the previous page and you will hear that it is definitely a cuckoo clock. You can even hear the little cuckoo birds cheap at the end.

The thing is, I can not watch this trailer anymore without hearing it. It's ruined. This better be a clue now.

Once heard, it does kind of elbow-jab the auditory attention each time. It could be nothing, but a cuckoo is a brood parasite, leaving its eggs in the nests of other birds for them to raise.
The sound that puzzles me more is the sort of low-budget Twilight Zone "space ship" noise that just precedes the SOL head hitting the building. No idea on that.

Whilst I won't say it definitely isn't one, I'll admit I'm skeptical.
I've worked with a program called Audacity, there's an option to remove noise using a selection and at times if the remove noise has been turned up too far it turns a song into a collection of electronic sounding clips not unlike that one, true, that may have been run through the same program.
That said, if it's truely a cuckoo call... it may be there as part of a joke, much like the potatoe and muddy tennis show in an asteroid field in one of the Star Wars films.

How can you be skeptical about such a clear sound? It is definetly a cuckoo clock

I'm sorry but this is bullshit.

Are you serious, dude? It's fucking in there. Listen carefully when the head hits the 401 broadway sign and lightly you can hear the cuckoo. Check geno's clip to hear it if you are def.
